We ate here for breakfast all 5 mornings we were in Noumea. The gentleman who owns the establishment was patient with our lack of French and welcomed us back each day. We also had dinner here 2 nights. The food was excellent and much better priced that further down in Bai De Citrons where the main strip of establishments is.... More

This place was right next door to hotel Beaurivage so an easy choice for dinner if you don't want to venture far. It was quite busy when I arrived but was shown to an outdoor table. I ordered the 'lamb leg' which was actually Lamb shank, even better! And got the choice of two sides. Large serving and great flavours.... More

We discovered this little gem when trying to escape the tourist regular hotspots. Staff where warm and friendly, and helpful with the menu ( we where able to overcome the english/french language barrier ) Menu was quite diverse ( I actually thought it was a Spanish restaurant ) Food was beautifully presented and very homey, fresh and delicious. Prices where... More

Located at Baie des Citrons with friendly & helpful staff. Not fine french cuisine but most satisfying meals & a varied menu.

Went on a Friday night and seated on a very high stool which was most uncomfortable. I ordered a Landaise salad for an entree which was a salad with smoked duck, bacon bits, foie gras, green beans and walnuts. Very ordinary. 1950 francs which seemed outrageous for a bit of salad. Ordered a pizza as a main. (Tomato, goats cheese,... More

This is not a French restaurant. The menu is extensive, but very much geared to non French visitors. Don't expect upmarket French food which you find most places in the area. However, the flip side is that it is well priced for what you get. Still horrendously expensive, but good compared to nearby eateries. They have a live band which... More

Had a fantastic night at La Fiesta with a group of friends. Pizzas were great with thin crust and beautiful flavours including one with potato and blue cheese. There special Saint Elphere was incredible. French red wine was also very good. The chocolate profiteroles were light and crispy and a huge serve with three profiteroles. The waiter we had was... Noumea's eatery for 'those in the know'. Leafy, informal outdoor - indoor seating with just the right mix of excellent food, great atmosphere, and excellent wine wrapped up in the nicest relaxed setting. Hosts happily worked with non-French speaking guests (us!). Will return before we leave Noumea. (Try the garlic prawns ... as good as you will find anywhere!)
