I have tried several restaurants in Noumea that were terrible and way over priced. Mr. Boeuf has great Steaks, Fish and a full menu including some knockout deserts. It is a little high but not as bad as some. The food in Noumea in general may not be appreciated by Western Tastes but this place is guaranteed to please, trust... More

it's been 3 years since last time I have eaten in this restaurant. My last experience was "wow" for the choice of different meats but I remember, it lacked seasoning. This time round it still lacked that seasoning, so when the main course plates arrived we still had to use salt to bring that flavour out. Starters were fine, oysters... More

I have eaten here several times over the last 5 years and twice on this visit. There are some serious steaks on the menu including a 1 kg size. I prefer the smaller cuts. Both meals were very good. Staff are pleasant steak was cooked they way I like it, so if you like steak, give it a go. Table... More

Given that the restaurant has Beef in the name we had high expectations of enjoying a nice steak, however we were sadly disappointed. It was our groups last night in New Caledonia and we were referred to this place only after Stone Grill was completely booked out. I ordered the faux filet (scotch filet equivalent) cooked medium and to be... More

I have eaten here twice now and both times have been very enjoyable. They even comment favourably on my attempts at speaking French. Tres bien!

Everything was great EXCEPT the beef. Which is a bit weird given its a beef restaurant. Beans were great smothered with butter and garlic. Prawns were tasty as well. But what happened to the beef? Pale in colour (hardly any char), plenty of gristle and served cold. Dissappointed!

Easy-going ambiance, friendly staff. Nothing special but it is a good place for grabbing a bite and chilling out with friends overlooking the waterfront of Baie du l'Orphelinat
