We visited twice during our stay in Noumea and both times the food and scenery were great. The second trip capped off by a visit from a dolphin and turtle making a magical meal just that little bit more special

This was one of the worst meals we had in Noumea. We ordered the crayfish 200g each & it was rubbish, I swear it was frozen. It was tasteless & dry. When we complained the waitress said it was because we had chosen only the small crayfish, she then said if we had ordered the 700g option the meal would... More

we went here for dinner right on 6.30 to enjoy the sunset view. we sat overlooking the open area in the middle watching the fish swim around below. the staff were very accommodating and happy to help us choose and kept refilling our water and asking if we needed anything else. very professional. the macaroon for dessert is a must!

If the food had cost about 1/3 the price, I would not complain, but i expected much much more for the prices charged. The fresh fish was overcooked, and the prawn was soft to the point of mushiness, with a too sweet sauce. There was really nothing to recommend - apart from its position, and the chance to see at... Tourist trap food in an amazing location. Food was terrible especially for the price. Had to send my dish back as it was raw and chewy. Wine mark ups are criminal even for Nouméa. Best part is feeding the fish. Super expensive and a massive let down. Save yourself the trouble and just watch the fish before the front door.

We had Christmas dinner at Le Roof with friends. The food was delicious and the ambience great though the service left something to be desired. Le Roof is located on stilts over the ocean so book in advance to get an outside table with water views and be prepared to open the wallet. The ambience comes at a steep price.... More

Not the best time to judge a restaurant but these people are professionals. Excellent food & service but at huge premium to any other night . Nevertheless they performed well in a beautiful over the water setting .

This is an amazing restaurant given it's unique position over the bay. The view is fantastic and you can see an array of fish, turtles and even dolphins (if you are lucky!). However, it is extremely expensive and our experience was mixed. We dined on Christmas Day for lunch and had some delicious starters. The main courses of fish were... More

Clearly the best location in the bay, and we were excited to try it out. Overall not bad but considering the price of the meals and the style that it's served in, the expectation is set higher then the quality/taste. Again, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as expected. Great for photos, better for the experience.
