Have been here multiple times , for both lunch and dinner. Restaurant is in the suburbs, about a 10 minute taxi ride from the Marriott. It is a quaint little place, built underneath and in the courtyard of a residential house. Recommend that you bring...mosquito repellant at night if you have it .Sometimes mossies but mostly not Food is really good. Service varies between average to great. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend the crunchy peanut soup, which is delicious. Also the chicken liver with mango chutney starter and the seared tuna shasimi. There have a very good cocktail selection, great Caipirinhas! Do yourself a favour and give Souposo a try. Can see their menu on their Facebook page,.More

The lovely courtyard is perfect to enjoy the Surinamese sunset whilst having a cocktail or two - all very tasty, decent measures and affordable. Unlike other reviews we didn’t find the service slow, but we did find it a bit lacklustre and could have a...bit more personable. Anyway, the main thing - the food! It was tasty, flavoursome and filling. We had the beer battered fish and peanut soup to start and for main the fish and chips and Thai curry, unfortunately for me the curry was just too spicy for my liking so I only ate a quarter of it. However everything else was lovely and I would go back for more to try something else.More

It took an hour and a half to serve a soup and a salad when half of the restaurant was empty. Second and last visit to this restaurant where the servers are extremely rude - they told me "I was not the only one waiting"...for an order whi h is an hour and a half late! Strictly decommended.More

Lovely garden setting with a small but extensive menu. We tried the peanut soup (not to be missed), vegetable Thai curry, and the local Surinamese cake (Boso ojo). They also have local rainforest friendly coffee, would highly recommend.

What a lovely little place. Most of the tables are in the pretty garden, some under cover which was perfect for our lunch. We had the highly recommended peanut soup with chicken - delicious. We will definitely try here again before we leave Paramaribo.

Really great food and awesome service! Possibly the best place we tried in Paribo. We got the peanut soup with chicken which still makes my mouth water! Definitely a big fan!
