We had dinner here one night on the recommendation of friends and it was very close to our hotel the Cabrera Imperiale....it was our first day in Bogota so celebrated with cocktails and a nice bottle of wine. We ordered small empanadas to share, a...tomato, avocado and onion salad which was very big, followed by a shrimp stew and the fish of the day....all delicious....would have definitely returned but ran out of time!More
I was there for a business meeting early weekday. No valet parking that early, but plenty of parking there and near by. The staff, as usual is right on, quick and lots of attention to detail. Fresh fruit, coffee, arepa de huevo, corn arepas, carimañolas...were all great. Nice surprise to the see one of the owners himself so early on, coming by to take personal care of his guests!More
It was our first time trying the Colombian food recently at @clubcolombiaaustralia & we truly loved it. .
Starting with their hospitality, service & interiors, everything is Colombian & very authentic for that matter.
At your tables you are presented with a Colombian cultural...hat which you can wear while enjoying your food - getting into the whole theme of the place. .
Hence, starting with some red & white wine base Sangria was just perfect.
Coming to food, mostly everything is gluten free and offers a good variety. We tried
- Plantain base starters with various topping - Corn shell patty with 3 different fillings - The traditional chorizo, arepa & potato for entrees - For mains we called the most famous & traditional Colombian dish having an assortment of 9 different amazing elements - & the Latin American grill with chicken breast rolls filled with ham & cheese
Everything was wonderful & we were glad that we actually visited @clubcolombiaaustralia & had an amazing experience .
I was out for the evening looking for a good place to have dinner and came across the Club Colombia. What a great find this was. At the door I was greeted by a Charming young woman with a huge smile by the name of...Carolyn who walk me to my seat and engaged me in conversation. I was waited on by two Great Waiters Jose and Christian. Jose made some great recommendations on the menu which I took him up on and I'm glad I did. Christian would bring the food out gracefully. The food and this establishment is excellent I mean excellent. I started off with a seafood ceviche followed by a churasco steak which was cooked to perfection. My experience at this restaurant was wonderful and I can't Thank the three people I encountered Carolyn Jose and Christian for making my night so enjoyable enough. If you're in Bogota stop and you won't regret itMore
If you want a local food place in Bogotá, in a low-sofisticated restaurant, go for Club Colombia. Situated in the restaurant zone, with parking place, you can opt for the most typical Colombian and Caribbean food together with on tap beer, of the same restaurant...name brand! Good food, good service , reasonably priced !More
I went there last night with my friends. There was a bit of a miscommunication regarding the online reservation as it never actually made it to the reservation book. After a bit of a wait and some convincing, we were seated. The food was excellent....All the wines are South American or from Spain and there are plenty of choices. The food is authentic, presented well and absolutely delicious.
My rating of 4 is a result of the booking problem, not the food.More
First of all service was A1, atmosphere was really cozy, sat inside just next to the outdoors area while enjoying the rain white noise, ordered Empanaditas Bogotanas for starters and Ajiaco Bogotano as main course, everything was very good. For dessert enjoyed some oporto and...then hit the road.More
While reading the reviews I was a unsure if Club Colombia will be the right place for a good dinner.
We were not disappointed - service was great, food was good, prices where OK (but expensive for Colombia). We enjoyed a great dinner and even...returned next day after a visit to the nearby shopingmall.More
