This is in the up and coming La Macarena area. The food is really excellent. We had Beef Carpaccio - outstanding Ossobuco - one of the most delicious variants on ossobuco I have ever eaten. The plate came with the bone standing upright on it. the meat had a fantastic delicate flavour to it that was stunning Costillos de Cerdo... More

Our best restaurant experience so far in Colombia. Authentic cuisine, election of ingredients committed to sustainability, nice setting, great location close to the national museum and Perfect service! After a visit to the flea market, we arrived for lunch, tired with 2 cranky kids...we left happy and relaxed after a wonderful meal!

Macarena is a newer, not so high priced food district in Bogota. We tried a couple of good places, but this was the best. The quality of the space and the food is high end informal, and the prices are very good. We had the chorizo ravioli appetizers, excellent. The meats were very good too. The Osso Buco was not... Nicely decorated dining room with small but perfect choice of slow food styles dishes. besides menu there is good selection of tapas but dont take too much, portions are large. Service is just ok, it could be better for place like this. Strange choice of mostly European and Californian wines, south American wines could match better the food there. Very... More

My lips did not meet anything that my mouth didn't crave another bite of. Staff was attentive. Decor was beautiful and simple. The appetizers didn't disappoint, the meal didn't falter and the dessert was divine. We had the lamb meatballs, grilled squid, and grilled lamb lollipops to name a few. For dessert we ordered Maracuya cheesecake and banana panacotta. Absolutely... More

Based on the idea of “daily food” they have a limited but also an exquisite cuisine. The octopus and the “asado de tira” are exceptionally good. My only advice is that some of the waitress are very pretentious. Besides that is is an excellent restaurant.

After watching Anthony Bourdain’s episode on Colombia we originally tried to get a table at Tabula but were told the restaurant was closed for a private function. We were told to try Donostia next door as it is run by the same chef as Tabula. Turned out to be a great recommendation. We may have gotten there a little early... More

Knowing that is a restaurant that has been in Anthony Bourdain's show you might think is a great restaurant. I was not impressed. I went with some friends from work and a couple who was visiting town from Minesota. The decoration of the place was simple and the attention was ok. There were no other tables so the waiters were... This is a cozy Spanish restaurant just behind the National Museum. The walls, the ceiling, the bar, make it very pleasant, and the food is good, well prepared and very tasty, with a large choice of dishes made with fresh and organic ingredients. Try the tapas and specials of the day, or the soups, the main dishes and desserts in... More
