Great looking environment, the entrance to get in is a little pricey, but that's to cover the live music. Food is very tasty, with a touch of fine dining presentation. Also free chicha is a nice perk. Personally, a little too pricey for what you get, but worth checking out all the same.

We planned to visit this place together with friends (in total 8 of us) and have a dinner on a Friday evening. We made the reservation days before for 8 without any problem or comment from the restaurant. We arrived in time paid the 30.000 COP entrance fee and asked for our table. They said that we can sit down... More

This is a very famous Restaurante cafe in Bogota given the fact that is owned by popular Carlos Vives even if barely shows up there. They don't accept reservation so,you have to queue outside for a long time and then you have to accept the place you were given which in our case was really bad. The food is quite... More

Located in a very accessible area of Bogota, Cafe Gaira has excellent food and service (at least at lunch time) and a very fun atmosphere. A great choice in Bogota.

Food was unique but not especially exciting. There was a good bit of activity and excitement. Brush up on your Spanish. The staff has a few English speakers, but not many.

This place defines Colombian culture. The walls are covered with photos of people important to Colombian history. The music is played by Colombian bands. The menu features almost exclusively Colombian dishes. The place is even owned by a famous Colombian singer, although I admit I had never heard of him before going to his club. I hope he doesn't hold... More

As we walked down Parque 93, we found this amazing place!!! This is Carlos Vives own restaurant, while you are having dinner a live group of Ballenato starts playing around the tables and later on a full stage opens and you have live music, you eat well, you have plenty of good drinks, and most of all the music is... Was taken to this restaurant come theater as part of a big group. Arrived a little early (by latin american standards) and it seemed to catch the wait staff off-guard. Whilst being seated immediately it took a good 40 minutes to get anything to drink, and then perhaps another 20 before we got any food. Good job we were not... More

I wanted to visit again this nice place after reading about a revamp with more space expecting something totally new and huge. Surprise you can't notice that additional space some distribution of space and stairs relocation is what you see. Good job it preserve the atmosphere it had. Regarding food ... just amazing : we had only entrances all of... More

I mostly went because I like Carlos Vives, not because I thought the food would be great. Turns out I underestimated the place. I ordered the Empanaditas de Pipian with peanut sauce and Nene Chu steak and thought the meal was outstanding. Definitely the best meal I had in Bogota.
