The coffee was ok, nothing special. The rest of the prices are high compared with other restaurants (around 30.000/40.000 cop)

La Puerta is a small and cozy restaurant in the heart of downtown Bogotá. The food was delicious and the service was great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and informative. Visiting La Puerta is a great experience for everyone.
This location was recommended to me by a tremendous local friend, Maria Torres. I was so thrilled with her choice that I invited her to join me and my friends for a meal there. That made 13 of us, including 2 teenagers. The staff did...not bat an eye at our arrival but quickly found a great spot for us up on the 2nd floor. The service was quick, the orders taken (and delivered!) accurately, and all our choices were delicious and more-than-adequate. Even the teenage boys were happily maxed-out. And a pleasant stroll through the nearby Plaza Bolívar was a great follow-up event to our meal.More
This was a good choice recommended by our tour guide for traditional Colombian food. The service could have been more personal and friendly but was prompt. The restaurant is a two story historic building close to the plaza Bolivar with a bohemian ambience. We chose...the traditional patacon and the ajiaco which was quite a lot of food at a good value.More
Do not be fooled by the small entrance, it is really just a door and a small space that leads to an interior patio with tables and a large second floor with several rooms from a very old house (one of the first ladies "universities"...of the country) enabled as a restaurant. You can try typical Colombian dishes such as Ajiaco, prepared with the traditional flavor of the original version of the dishes. Sundays, it is quite busy. It has balconies from where you can see the Cathedral and part of the Plaza de Bolivar. A good place for tourists, and Colombian visitors, to complement the visit to the historic La Candelaria neighborhood with a good lunch, at a price according to the quality and quantity, abundant dishes and good attention. We had a good time, to improve they would include a non-alcoholic beer for those who drive.More
A traditional local restaurant which is very busy and the staff are not as helpful as they could be. Service was also very slow. The food was good though, local dishes, including the soups and mid range priced. The drinks were quite expensive and the...band was a bit noisyMore
We were shown this place by a local guide and we had a lunch there on a very busy day. The was ok nothing outstanding but decent. Service was a bit slow but it was full. We ordered the bandeja and a soup and they...had the same ingredients so really not sure how good the menu is. I found it felt too touristy for my liking but its in a touristy area. Prices were higher than i expected.More
Our guide brought us here for lunch . Friendly staff and nice seating with live music.I ordered the grilled pork ..huge serving and delicious. My husband had the grilled chicken ..more food than we could eat. Both served with salads as well. One would be...enough for us to share.. .More
The best restaurant on tiha street. Ajiaco Santafereño is the best dishes here. Also Divorcio is the best sweet cake. Enjoy
We stopped here for some drinks and food. The open area downstairs has a better vibe than upstairs in the back. The food was ok, but the drinks were good. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice location and place to stop for a...quick snack or break during the day.More
