This restaurant is very similar to La Puerta Falsa which is right next door. We liked La Purta Falsa so much that we decided to come here for a snack. We tried some of their typical sweets, which were amazing!

Traditional Colombian spot that has amazing Ajiaco. Inexpensive prices and great service. Two blocks from Plaza Bolivar.

Just arrived in bogota today, saw the reviews on here and thought we'd give the classic Colombian dishes a go. Huge portions, stuffed by the end! also, wine is available even though it's not on the menu. No other tourists either! Great start to the trip

We went this restaurant over an advice. They have an delicious ajiaco. Also Sancocho and Bandaje Paisa seemed very good. Portions are big so if you re not that hungry, you want to share one. They also have some typical desserts of Colombia. Nice place to have a lunch when you're in the La Candelaria. Main dishes are between 14-16.000... More

Yo can't go to Bogota without having a typical Ajiaco, and this is excatlly what it's supposed to be like. It doesn't get any better than this.

We went to this place after visiting Museo del Oro and Museo Botero del Banco de la Republica. We went here almost 2 pm so we were famished. Place was packed considering the time. Service was quite slow but everyone was friendly. Food has generous portions and they were all delicious. Price was quite reasonable.

This little place has excellent traditional food. I tried the tamal which was huge and completely different to the ones I have tried in other Latin American countries. It is like having a full meal.

Of all the meals I had in Colombia, the Ajiaco soup I had here was one of the best. It's fairly priced and delicious! I shared with a friend but we both wanted a bit more after we finished! ;) Also the prices are good for budget travelers and the food is authentic. Tons of locals eat here- it's not... More

This place is amazing! I'm so glad I went here. Right next to Plaza Bolivar, this hole in the wall serves some of the best ajiaco. Careful while you order though, the portions are huge! Plus they also serve huge portions of the sides. We ordered a frijoles and an ajiaco and we couldn't finish even half of each. Must... More

Right in the middle of Candelaria is this nice little restaurant serving some if the tastiest colombian food. Very homely. Very comforting food. Definitely try the ajiaco and tamales.
