Excellent espresso drinks! I had an Arequipe Macchiato- similar to a Carmel macchiato but a much smoother and better Type of Carmel. Plus they make beautiful designs in the milk like a small cafe. I wish it was in the US!

Juan Valdez serves a good cup of coffee. Prices are relatively low and the wifi is free. A good place to have a rest from sightseeing

Nice place to relax and drink a real colombian coffee. I recommend not only drinking coffee but if you really enjoy new tastes you should take a cup of coffee with vanilla or with chocoalte

We went to several of the Juan Valdez Cafes while in Colombia. We drank latte, mocha, and coffee. All of it was good. My only complain? I am used to large size cups, and they are much smaller than Starbucks. The small cup leaves you wanting more! It is SO cheap, that you can drink 2 ;) We did not... More

The coffee was good and the chocolate brownie excellent in this busy café adjacent to the library in this central part of Candelaria. If it's not too cold, there's spare to sit outside and there's a nice little area where you can buy coffee and accessories.

This is a Colombian answer to Starbucks. Only coffee is better because they make it strong and tasty. Variety of cakes and desserts are available as well as pastries, yogurts, etc. Love it!

Find these coffee shops all around the city! The coffee is always good and they will give you the option of what type of coffee blend you like. Try their carrot cake!

The coffee was great although the English translation was terrible... Need further English speakers or atleast a self service kiosk for international visitors.

I go to Juan Valdez because 1. I like the fact that belongs to all the coffee producers in Colombia. 2. Better taste of fresh coffee. 3. I would never spend a coin in Starbucks Colombia when we have the best coffee ever. 4. Is everywhere. HOWEVER, they have became EXTREMELY OVERPRICED, specially if your salary is paid in pesos,...
