This place is all about fun. Great music and great drinks. The food is not very good but that is not the point about this place.

First day in Bogota and loved it. More than great. Interior, atmosphere, food, friendly staff. Ten out of ten, must visit.

Don't go if all you want is to have a meal, even though the food, specializing in Colombian cuisine, is good, and the decor makes for a very enjoyable ambience. Andres Carne de Res is a big restaurant geared to heavy drinking and loud noise - party time to go with your meal. If that's the experience you want, it's... More

Food is good, but you have to desserve it! Waiting time, even for a simple beer is endless. Service is very ´commercial'! If you like a quite place, this is not the place to be. Loud music, sometimes different things, small acts at the same time! The Bogotà way, I should say! Cacaphonia is the word, but there's certainly a... More

This place is amazing in many ways. However, women (and maybe men) BEWARE!!! I went to this restaurant/dance club/bar with two local Bogota women. We were having an amazing time--drinking Aguardiente, dancing, laughing, meeting people from all over the world. Then, one of the local women accepted an invitation to dance from another local. Like many people in the bar,... More

Every time I travel to Bogota, I try to visit Andres Carne de Res, either the one at CHIA or the one in Bogota. This time I visited the one in Bogota. As usual, the experience was great, my coworker and I visited on Monday the 15th, which it was a local holiday, but the place was full, with people... More

Bottom Line: This place is MASSIVE and sensory overload is a possibility, but if you're with a group, it's a fun night out. Food: The menu has to be 50-60 pages long and you will find something that you want to try. Food is competently prepared, but not really memorable. It definitely wasn't bad. It just wasn't particularly good. Beverage:... More
