The service, food and drinks, as well as the atmosphere was all terrific at this tapas bar. Although a quaint setting, the place was packed and the service was some of the best we received traveling through Ecuador and Colombia. We especially enjoyed the variety of tapas (seafood, Indian, LatAm, etc.), the selection of beers and chatting with the owner,... More

Amazing dinner with a friendly staff. A small intimate place to eat, with great food. If I return to Bogota, I will make sure I eat here again.

Nice little restaurant, very helpful staff, our waiter Andres Mesa was very nice. The food is, for Colombian standards, expensive but well worth it. We had a nice dinner, price-quality balance is good.

Went with friends to celebrate a birthday. This restaurant has two locations opposite one another on the same street. We were confused by the fact that different dishes seemed to come from one kitchen or the other and we watched staff going back and forth across the street. This undoubtedly contributes to the slowness of service. Although we appreciated not... More

This is our second time at Tapas and we loved it! From mad potatoes to cochinillo, everything is so delicious, full of wonderful flavors that just made your day! We had also octopus, asparagus and portobello with gruyere and gouda cheese and, of course, sangria. Everything great.

I been coming to this lovely place for the past 8 months and I think it's just amazing, from the food to the people, to the ambiance, it's just wonderful, I have visited a couple of places around the world and I can deff say this is one of the best I have ever been. Thank you!

I paid a lightning visit (a week on business) to Bogota in June 2016 and really couldn't believe the amazing quality and variety of the cuisine offered by two sister restaurants: one an Indian restaurant and the other a Spanish tapas bar diagonally across the road from the former, in the throbbing heart of bohemian Bogota in a place called... The food is absolutely delicious and the spot is great. Small and cozy in the neighborhood of La Macarena. Highly recommend.

Description
This is a tiny and familiar restaurant. Customers like it because they feel like at home. It is the first tapas bar in Colombia and is well known by its contemporary menu, composed by traditional Spanish tapas like tortilla, Serrano, but also by its creations. They even have their own version of patatas bravas and they are actually very famous. The Serrano salad, the white fish in basil oil with asparagus and dried tomatoes, tha lamb burgers etc. Tapas go along well with a cold beer, a glass of sangria or wine. If you want to have a unique and personalised experience come to Tapas Macarena. Feel free to order what you want, ask the waiter or the cooks. And something else, the music is really nice.....
