Nice if you sit downstairs but the upstairs room is a bit soulless. Food was pleasant but no more than that.

We took the breakfast there before the bike ride with gravity. It's good, not expensive and there is a lot in the plate.

We visited this restaurant several times while in La Paz as the food was of a very highly quality and is also very reasonably priced. I would especially recommend the steak and chips- delicious and only 64 bolivianos. The atmosphere is also very nice, with live music a few times a week and the restaurant split over several floors.

I had a lovely afternoon snack and chill out here. It's a cool interior with chilled out décor and seating. Had some of the cabinet cakes and chocolate treats - was lovely!

Ate here once. Was super impressed with quality of food. Had the big bolivian 'picante meat' dish (forget name). It was huge. Took me 20min to eat. Quality! Really nice venue too.

We had the local beer (Paceña) which was nice and enjoyed a nice wine also. Good food with very pleasant service. This is a nice casual restaurant on a corner so a good place to look out on the busy street. It was just off Calle Sagarnaga, so it was close to our hotel. We had the black quinoa risotto... More

We decided to eat at this place because it looked very inviting from outside but did not feel welcome at all as soon as we walked in. Staff were surly and behaved as if we were interrupting their banter when we ordered. Don't come here if you want a good meal and good service, unless you want to be disappointed.

One of the best liquid meals I have come across (and yes I do mean the lager beers they have), Let me set the scene, four post-uni mates, separado gap years, "shall we have a quick one"...First mistake. Next thing you know we are reunited over a couple of draught litros. Muchos thereof. If you like cold beers, if you... More

Gravity Bolivia meets here for their Yungas road tours. They offer quick, delicious breakfasts. I had the fruit bowl. It was incredible. Kiwi, papaya, strawberries, grapes, strawberry yogurt, and granola. Great way to start the day. Everyone commented that their mates de coca looked very artsy and would make a good instagram picture.

Thank Rachael R

Cafe-restaurant Sol y Luna is a Dutch owned and managed bar/restaurant. Because we have 4 areas, we can cater for several occasions. When you enter the restaurant it might look small, and around dinner time fully booked, but we do have a bigger non smoking restaurant area at the back upstairs. Downstairs we have the pool area with the possibility to have some drinks or a meal on comfy couches. If you carry on from there you will find our projector room for sports and presentations. You can come in to watch some sport on the flat screen TV's, read a book from our book exchange, check the internet via our free Wi-Fi or plan what the next leg on your journey will be with help from our reference guidebook collection. During big and important sport matches we will turn our upstairs area in to a real sport cinema with a beamer projecting the game on a massive screen and we get the sound through the sound system!!
