A nice change of pace, this cozy club-like restaurant has delicious roast pork and other dishes, and an amazing array of Cuban rums (otherwise inaccessible to Americans). Also musicians on the weekends, and Cuban cigars to buy and smoke. A vacation within a vacation (if...you don't think too much about the alliance of Morales, Maduro, and Castro...).More
I stumbled upon this restaurant late at night when most other restaurants in the area had closed. What a find... the food was amazing, the ambience reminded me of Havana. They had live music that added to the thrill of the thrill of sipping on...Santiago de Cuba. This restaurant provides a different dimension after the awesome street food.More
After 3 months in South America, this restaurant was a welcome treat. The food was fantastic, and the Cuban sandwich had all the correct ingredients, no local substitutions. The mustard and pickles in particular were delicious! Great Cuban rum, decent service for SA, pricey but...worth every penny.More
My husband and I came here on a Thursday night without knowing there's live music. After our delicious meals, we decided to stay a bit longer to listen to the band and a chance to try their mojito. The crowd and us enjoyed their romantic...Cuban music, and needless to say, their mojito was fantastic! We had a great night. This is one of our favorite places in La Paz.More
Four of us went here and 3 of our dishes were awesome and my dish was good, but the meat was dry and a bit chewy. A little bit of the restaurant’s picante sauce and the plate was delicious. Every other plate was great on...its own. Sadly, I can’t recall the name of the dishes.
Atmosphere in the restaurant was also quite nice and spacious, with Cuban artwork on the wall and a wooden interior.More
A friend and I went there for dinner because he's a fan of Cuban cocktails. We had some great Cuba Libres and Mojitos, enjoyed a nice dinner and listened to Cuban live music. All in all a great experience, remembering our travels to Cuba and...sharing some stories in a great atmosphere.More
Was glad to notice there was a Cuban restaurant outside my hostel. Went in there thinking it will be over priced or the food won't be that great. Had starters, main course (ropa vieja) and the Cuban beer all for a £10. Food was prepared...well and was delicious. The food was more flavoursome than the same dish in cuba itself! Great value for money.More
