Moby Dick has been there for centuries. With its fireplace and cozy athmosphere is great at this time of the year when the season is over and wind blows from the south Atlantic seas. In summer with its air non-conformist more like being in south florida than the tropics is a must for the young as well as the not... More

Nothing special, just a touristy English pub. But was the only place open near our hotel, so we shared a Moby Dick pizza. It was pretty tasty, and quite large. I wouldn't suggest visiting based on the pizza, but if you find yourself nearby and are scared off by the other restaurants (Soho resto-bar is particularly bad), this is a... More

Stopped to have lunch on what turned out to be a busy lunch service for the restaurant. They had people turning up at different times from a large group (maybe a bus tour?) and the staff had trouble remembering who ordered what. Interesting watching them walk around with plates of food and checking with each other as to where the... More

We came here twice, once for late night drinks, once for dinner. We had a blast at the bar, chatting with the bartenders and enjoying the awesomely random music selections. Dinner outside was just ok, unremarkable bar food for the most part.

Facing Punta del Este harbor, this pub has an extended terrace in front and upstairs. The service is very friendly and you can stop for even a very short meal.

Very nice ambience and bar! We had great fries with a mashroom sauce and ceviche and caesar salad. The ceviche was not that good, but probably because is not from Uruguay. The fries and the salad, as well as the local beer were great! People very nice!

Moby Dick is situated among 3 other eating establishment that look like are open late and are geared for possibly a younger crowd. When we got there they were playing 80's American music, which we liked listening to. It was playing pretty loud inside so we opted to sit outside. We ordered the seafood spaghetti and french fries that were... More

the place is relaxed, no people trying to pose like in a couple of the other places on the strip. the food is more snack-ish, i wouldn´t call it a restaurant, the service is great, the staff are very attentive and friendly but without being overbearing. we went twice..on the first night there was a big band playing and the... There is nothing special about Moby Dick. The food is average, not especially tasty. The server spoke good English and seemed preoccupied; in my opinion she was expected to cover too many tables.
