The birthday girl invited us for late lunch here. She booked the place ahead.
Foods- varied and luscious
Will I be coming back? Well of course, not only me but with my friends 😉
Nice to visit a considerably nice restaurant. The food was good but quantity was less. The platter was full of fries n little barbeque.
The thai chicken salad was good. I will ask for a little lesser black pepper next time.
The shesha wss not...good. Right from first puff the coal was coming.More
Food was ok, not great, not bad, but far from the refined elegance mentioned in some of the comments. Recommended for smokers: I had not seen such a thick smoke in a room since when I picked up my grandfather at the bars where he...was playing dice in the 1980s. Luckily there’s a small terrace. Not impressed by the fact they would not accept credit cards: maybe that’s a temporary glitch, but at least let people know on the website, at least one can come prepared.More
The staff was friendly and the service fast. In fact, the restaurant didn't have a lot of clients, that's why maybe the ambiance was a little be "cold". The food was just ok but the menu had a lot of choices.
While at the World Trade Center, I took a chance on Original Fusion. You can eat inside or on a partially covered patio outside. They had a diverse menu with various types of meats and veggie dishes. I started with the hummus (beautifully presented) and...tried the Jack whiskey cocktail, very good. I settled on the Wagyu beef short rib, served over mashed potatoes. I needed some veggies to go with it, so I ordered up a side of grilled vegetables. The meal was terrific, with excellent service with a smile. There were a number of tasty looking dessert items, but I passed following the rich meal.More
Had a weekend away and found original fusion on trip advisor.. Went a bit early for happy hour and was disappointed to find it empty on a Friday night however soon filled up and enjoyed some negronis which were stronger than normal so put some...soda with them. Started with the camel cannelloni or cameloni and then went for the duck which was both theatre and taste in one.. Will be backMore
Its refreshing in Abu Dhabi to visit a quality licensed restaurant that's not in a hotel. Stylish interior, professional attentive service and fantastic food. I recommend the lamb 'bird's nest'. Excellent Iftar also. We also went to a fun stand up comedy night in the...restaurants bar area.More
