The price is very affordable and it even taste good. The location is ok, the ambiance not much, most of the customers are really loud and the tables are not comfortable. It’s sad to see a restaurant such as this, it is mis managed, they...have good food to offer yet they are taking it for granted. The place looks too old, ceiling have holes and not fixed, lights are too dim, place is dirty, unhygienic and the staff needs a lot of training for safety and sanitation.More

This is the case in all Chinese Japanese and even the downtrodden Filipino restaurants . The moment you put them in circumstances where they can be racist such as Abu Dhabi things start to dismantle and being respectful to people goes out of their window....Only people they end up being nice to is white their own and the arabs . Any other race and they will make u wait ..... never tend to u and make sure u feel so disowned that u would never want to return and it's a sense of victory for them . The Chinese u put in a Croydon will be extremely nice to all races because else they will be out in their place . Then if u put them in a plush Dubai space and watch the racism explode. Not that they are given much importance by the arabs . I had a similar experience at this restaurant.More

Very racist, sexist and extremely rude restaurant owner!! I wore a brand new kaftan to the restaurant but ended with a big patch of oil on my behind after my meal. There’d been oil on the chair I sat in. I politely asked the staff...to speak with the owner as I wanted an explanation. However, the owner came out and started screaming at me before I even got angry. He said many nasty things about my race and called me rude names. I won't share the dirty words but he repeatedly shouted for me: - To take off my gown and walk naked onto the street - That I was a fraudster and low class - People of my race were all frauds - He wouldn’t pay me a cent even if I begged him - I should have checked and wiped the seats before sitting Considering I never asked for money and the meal had been paid, the vile language used was extremely disturbing. As a woman, I was so upset at his lunging motions and screams that I promptly left the restaurant. About 15 customers saw this incident and rushed to convince him that his attitude was not appropriate. He never apologised once for the mistake his restaurant made and escalated this issue with VERBAL ABUSE and DISCRIMINATION. A staff member tried to dismantle the public outrage by offering to pay for the laundry money. I did not accept as I didn’t want money, only an apology from the owner. The owner refused to come out of his restaurant to apologise. Other customers offered me their contact details and I can provide these as a witness. Do NOT go to this restaurant! The restaurant is a terrible reflection of UAE’s food and services industry. Sadly, a horrible representation of China.More

Excellent food especially the deep fried aubergine chilli. Friendly, and full of Chinese people... always a good sign. Good value too.

We found a wonderful Chinese this evening thanks to other reviewers here. The Red Castle near the Madinat Zayad Mall is quite hard to find but it is a stone's throw from the Golden Tower and it is near The Babyshop. Crispy Duck and Pancakes,...chilli beef, mutton with cumin and very freshly made delicious egg fried rice and drinks was easily enough for 4 people all for 200. We asked them to omit MSG as one of our party is allergic and they were very happy to oblige. However, had we gone with our first instincts we would have swerved on this one, as it was completely empty and the decor is very faded. The menu is depicted with garish pictures and the lighting is harsh. But don't be put off as this place is a hidden gem.More

Small hideaway upstairs room. Food was plentiful and fresh, but lacked sauce choices that I am used to seeing in Chinese establishments. Staff was friendly and service was good.

Decor here is basic, but they do have real 10 seater round tables complete with lazy Susans here if you are a larger party (and this is small restaurant). Favorite dish here is the French beans fried with chilli and this other spice that makes...your tongue go numb. Tofu dishes here are good and tasty but the chicken curry was not impressive. If you live in AD you can afford to go a few times to work out the hits and the misses on the menu, as dinner for two can be under 100 dhs.More

Best value Chinese in Abu Dhabi. Chinese people own & cook. Salt &pepper calamari is super. A great place for a cheap meal and one to add to your regular nights of takeaway.
