I was expecting more of Olio especially that m a regular at other outlets. Service was below average as we had to beg for the waiter ti wait our table. Food was acceptable except that we had ordered the salmon plate which was overcooked. Pizza is good as usual. What is really worth giving a try is the pain perdu...really... More

Craving an authentic Italian restaurant in Beirut we were lucky to dine at Olio. A true Italian flavor pasta and crispy pizza made in wooden oven. Highly recommend for those who seek good service and exquisite cuisine.

A lot of pizza and pasta places opened and closed in Beirut in the last decade or two. Olio however is there to stay. With the pizza crust they developed and their pasta dishes they are on the map for a good Italian restaurant. The take on olio is simply two things: the oil within the pizza sometimes is too... Did lunch a few times at Olio with friends. It's a nice little place that does offer a lovely selection of good Italian plates. Never went wrong and the staff are very friendly. Would recommend for those who need to escape the work place during lunch break.
