bartartine is home to hearty food and artisanal French bread and pastries. The finest ingredients, traditional techniques and original recipes come together in the hands of expert chefs to deliver the most authentic flavors and experiences. Unlike other local hangouts, bartartine has a personality and a flavor of its own. It serves a range of delicious dishes, including tartines, pizzas, salads, steaks, and a very nice breakfast selection made with the different types of bread that come fresh out of the brand’s own bakery. Tartine bakery is an authentic French bakery, where artisanal bread and viennoiseries are freshly baked daily along with a unique selection of French tarts and cakes. Today bartartine has expanded from its first location in Mar Mikhael to 7 additional branches in ABC Achrafieh, Dbayeh, Hazmieh The Backyard, Down Town Zaitunay Bay, Resto St Nicolas Achrafieh, ABC Dbayeh and Dunes Verdun. Broumana branch is scheduled to open soon.

Bartartine in Zayituna Bay is the best one

Bartartine in Zayituna Bay is the best Bartartine restaurant in Beirut. It is my favorite place for breakfast. Always great food and wonderful service. Beautiful croissants, bread, omelets... But Bartartine near ABC Verdun is the worse one. Very dirty, very slow and unprofessional service and old croissants.

The Spot!

I was impressed with the quality of the pastries and bread here, as well as the coffee! Bartartine was near my Airbnb and it was the perfect spot to start the day off with a latte and some French bread. The service was friendly and patient...with my basic Arabic/ French and they speak English well! Stop by for a quick snack or a good meal. :)

Breakfast with a Nice View

Had breakfast over there, really enjoyed the place, the food was spectacular and the view was on the Marina. Tried their coffee and it was very nice, the only down side was the slow service. The staff took sometime to bring our order over, but was worth it.

Bar Tartine Hazmieh to avoid absolutely!

It was a place we used to go frequently. But that was before! With the COVID 19 restrictions we knew that eight people were hard to squeeze in. So we called knowing that this restaurant was not taking reservations. We were not told it was not possible. In fact, a single table of eight people is provided outside and it was, as often, occupied by only two people. What followed is just unpleasant:, the staff, execrable and incompetent, the food that arrives in spurts, salads not fresh and seasoned the day before, quantities and quality that have been reduced because of the situation in the country! ...It is not the restaurant we knew before. We had the impression of eating leftovers, and last but not least, the zeal of the staff who try to convince you otherwise! Bye Bye! Bar Tartine! And please, don’t answer by sorry for the inconvenience….

I usually like Bar tartine, but this time I was very disappointed. I ordered the egg hollandaise and it came ice cold, not the usual quality of this place. The cappuccino was also barely warm with unsuccessful frothed milk. I will go back to give it a second chance.

A big drop in food quality

I had wild salmon and it was not great. The sauce is very mediocre and not tasty and sugary. The side vegatables were a disaster no taste whatsever. Bartartine food quality for its main dishes has deteriorated. I suggest choosing another restaurant. There is sooo much better.

Nightmare Service

we were in the radisson for almost three weeks and drank coffee regularly in bartartine. the employees are very slow, listless and move only if there is a tip. Very unfriendly staff and a very long wait for the coffee. here you even pay for the milk for the coffee. That's incredible. a waiter even tried to cheat me with the bill. Employees do not return change as a matter of principle. you just keep the money. the staff are always chatting or on their phones and ignoring the guests.

Best food … worst service

Yummiest food and best coffee but really worst service. It’s very slow. No enough waiters to serve u. So u need to wait like forever to order, get ur coffee, spoon, or even the bill. I learned to ask for everything ( even the bill) from the beginning otherwise i will waste half my time just waiting. P.s: I’m a regular customer- duens branch I really like the restaurant, but u need to solve this issue.

We asked for plate chicken with green sauce they told us it's not available and after a while another table came they serve this plate. And we asked for café latte iced the suger was crunching in it.

Terrible service

We entered the broumana branch and there was 3 unclean tables, we were invited to one and were promised that it will be clean soon. All other tables were cleaned in about 20 min except ours so we moved to a clean table, ne people entered , the were services and nobody came to our table , so we just left.

Fantastic Food

Very unique dishes and well prepared. Some of the best food we have had in all of our travels and certainly in all of Lebanon. Highly recommend it! The truffle pizza and pain perdu are excellent!

first and last

i went there today for the first time.. for breakfast. i arrived and set on a table outside with my sister.. we ordered some breakfast.. and while we were recieving our food.. first the croissant were as cold as it can be.. second few guys came and they chose a table just next to us and one of them started to smoke cigars at 10h30 am we asked them kindly to stop smoking and they refused we asked them again but they didn't even reply and all the other guys on the table lit on there cigars again..so i asked for the third time to stop and they said they are going to keep smoking.. the manager came in and talked with them for few seconds ..nothing happened .. then he came to speak with us..he didn't even bother to ask them to change their table.. knowing that they didn't order yet and said to me that he can't do anything and he didn't even proposed thay we chsnge our table.. so i drank my coffee and we had to leave because the smell was awful.. thanks for the bad experience bartartine

Great brunch

This place is tucked away. Enter the patisserie shop downstairs and then take the side stairs to get to the court shared with other restaurants. Eggs Benedict and yogurt pots in the morning in a place away from the noise
