I visited Babel bay with my wife last summer during my visit to Lebanon, I can say it Absolutely Amazing experience. Once you reach the restaurant you can easily feel the welcoming & charm atmosphere from a very well trained staff and the elegant mood reflected by an exceptional interior. We were lucky to find a table on the terrace and enjoy our dinner while watching the marina and yachts in front of us. Servers always alerted and highly attentive for every and each detail, we were lost a bit in the menu but to tell you the truth all the recommendations they did was really outstanding. I can highly recommend you to try the Salmon Salad, Mafrouket Tajen, Squid with Ink, Fattet Shrimps and of course don’t forget to go and choose your fresh fish to be fried or baked from the exceptional fish display. You have to keep in mind whenever you visit Babel Bay to keep a place for their special offered dessert, jams and fruits.
I highly recommend this place and definitely will do it again during my next visit to Lebanon.

Babel has already positioned itself as being different from the traditional Lebanese cuisine. Where most of the dishes come with a twist. And some are a themselves a twist.
Babel Bahr has done the same as a Lebanese seafood Reataurant where it’s all high quality unique delicious food.
That’s beside the fact that the location is superbly over viewing the sea.
Babel is always Grandiose.
A must try for sure.

Definitely a Must stop for everyone who is visiting Beirut. We went there for a dinner with friends and we spent a great time together.
The fresh fish and the shrimps were super delicious. The traditional appetisers and the tabule salad were also amazing and the taste was authentic. It’s not a place for meat lovers because there is not much of a big choice for them.
It’a mainly a seafood restaurant.
The service is also amazing. Staff members are polite and welcoming.
And the cheery on top was the romantic and beautiful view of the Zaitunay Bay.

It might be a language barrier but I clearly felt trapped on the fish menu. US $120 per kilo of fish sounds ridiculous for me. The waiter started pouring bottles water even without asking us as we were still obviously looking at the menu. The menu could be better with more options that mezza and fish trap menu. Not a really good place and no one can or took time to explain to
Us why the fish is priced as gold. My family and I are left confused we just left and ate at the next restaurant. Their menu is clear and not a trap

Beautifully situated and definitely upmarket in terms of setting, it has good seafood. This is where the compliments end, unfortunately. The head waiter/majordomo was arrogant and refused to show me a menu and simply said it's online. there must have been 6 wait staff milling about and joking with each other - no attempt at service, in all fairness maybe they did not want to waste time on a foreigner because of language difficulties. I then was shown to the "fish display room" and I selected a medium sized seabass and was told it was $125.00 for just the fish (it weighed almost 2-lbs fresh so to be honest it could feed two). Everything else was a la carte. For the prices they charge, a more congenial and helpful approach toward the customer is expected. Others may shrug off such attitude, I do not.

This well known restaurant in Zaitunay Bay certainly has an excellent menu. Service is a bit haphazard. The problem with the restaurant is not the food. The food is great. The ambience is buzzing. It's just that there doesn't really seem to be any sould to the restaurant. It's just a commercial venture. A good one, but nothing that really stands out.

I love my Lebanese food and I love my fish. This place has the great atmosphere, views of the harbour and the freshest fish in Lebanon. I always go personally select my fish for grilling, and these sea bream and rock bass had the clearest eyes and the reddest gills: RIGHT out of the water baby! Simply grilled with a bit of salt and olive oil: oh what a delight... We also had some excellent friend "rouget" fish. The mezze starters were excellent.

Restaurant located in Zaitunay Bay in Beirut which is a nice marina with yatch club, promenade and lots of restaurants. Babel is based at the end of the bay/marina next to the yatch club. Really nice outside terrace overlooking marina as well as a smart indoor space with bar and fresh fish counter. This is a seafood restaurant with good selection of hot/cold/cooked/raw dishes as well as the individual priced per kilo fish counter. The restaurant is expensive relative to other restaurants visited in Beirut..especially at time of visit with tough financial climate for people. ..thus we were the only people on the restaurant terrace and next door restaurant was virtually full!. The food quality was however very good and this is a great spot for lunch or dinner.

This seafood restaurant is an absolute gem. Every dish we sampled was a masterpiece, with the freshness of the seafood evident in every bite. The wine selection complemented our meal beautifully. This celebrated restaurant, perched along the Zayoutna Bay Marina with the Mediterranean as its backdrop, and housed within an evocative sandstone interior is renowned for its sophisticated seafood cuisine with a modern flair. We were particularly enticed by their signature shrimp fatteh, succulent jumbo shrimp, and the seductively unique seafood baklava, where crispy filo pastry cradled a treasure trove of fresh flavors. The salmon salad promised a refreshing counterpoint, while the mafrouket tajen and squid with ink beckoned with a touch of intrigue. But the true magic lay in the vast selection of pristine seafood, each waiting to be selected by us and then transformed into a sensational dish under the chef's expert hand. Babel Bay truly offered the perfect setting to raise a toast to a remarkable journey through Lebanon.

Located at zeitouna bay Beirut down town. The food was excellent and the fish so fresh. The service so perfect ... amazing! The prices are on the high side but comparing to the quality that they provide you feel ok :) ... I recommend the place for sure and to try it. We paid around 50 usd per person concluding. Soft drinks. Just to mention that at the end they offer for free fruits and nice delights and desert.

There is a sea food display where you chose which kind you have. All very fresh, from today’s catch. Big variety served in a modern and fancy way.

Excellent food. The raw fish mezze were unbelievable! Shrimp and fish amazing as well as octopus. They helped us order a taxi and someone escorted us to it therefore service better than expected. Obviously not cheap at all but worth the money!
