Beside their nice sushi and their super maki selection, you have to try the white fish salad.Their service is outstanding but i did not like the decoration for two reasons: first, the place is very noisy so i don't think its the best choice for a first date :) and second it would be nicer to add some candles and... Even if the food is delicious and the service is good. I am planning to pay a second visit to this crowded small place. I had a terrible headache all night and had to scream while taking to my friends.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to with real tasty sushi and very high quality service. Highly recommend for anyone who loves spicy rolls and dishes and Japanese food in general :)

I don't know if traditional sushi is served with coriander, but it has such a strong taste that it tops the taste of raw fish, which is why I love sushi in the first place. Kampai seems to be persistent on adding coriander to almost every dish - at least it was the case when I visited, not sure if... More

Kampai, one of the best Japanese restaurant in Lebanon, with original choice of sushi, sashimi, salads,... the restaurant is zen, the waiters are professional, welcoming, and most importantly quality and taste of food is excellent.

You would not expect to eat the best fusion/Japanese food in Beirut but you absolutely do. This restaurant is faultless, the quality is superb, fresh and made in front of you, the service is impeccable and charming and it even has a few tables outside on the pavement, although we preferred to sit inside.

Location is hard to find at least for me even with GPS :) The decoration is simple but classy. The seats are not very comfortable for such a high standard place. The staff is courteous and friendly. The sushi is excellent although the variety is not very wide compared to other great sushi bars. But you will love what you... More

The food is just delicious. The spicy crispy salmon is out of this world and the sushi rolls are succulent. Service is perfect and the staff is very warm.

Kampai is a Japanese sushi restaurant whose name means "cheers" in the mother tongue. Though most guests seek out Kampai for its deliriously delicious sushi, the traditional Japanese cooking (you know, the hot stuff!) Is also noteworthy. Don't miss the siu mai and gyoza dumplings-a few of these melt-in-your-mouth savory bundles, stuffed with your choice of shrimp, fresh crab, chicken, wagyu, or shiitake, will sufficiently whet your appetite for the subsequent course. Here, we recommend the Kampai Maksushi, an assembly of tender scallop wrapped in a lightly-fried panko crust and topped with grilled salmon. Perfection.
