I recently had the opportunity to meet up with friends and family at Cru. The experience was unforgettable. This charming place combines the location, intimacy, excellent wine selection and great knowledgeable staff, to make the simple act of "meeting friends for a drink" something you will remember fondly for a very long time. Kudos to owners Karen and Wael for... More

This was the first meal I ever had in Beirut and it was amazing. The decor, the ambience, the warmth of the staff, the quality of the food - it can't be beat. They have their own wine now, which is ridiculously good and inexpensive (I hope they aren't reading this and decide to increase the price). I typically bring... More

Lovely bar in Hamra with nice and cozy outdoor seating and a great selection of wine (a must try is 'Nakad'!). The staff are very friendly and really caring, and you just want to stay a little bit longer.

Love this place. They have a great selection of wines at good prices. Staff are super friendly and laid back. It lacks the stuffiness of other Beirut hangouts, with a more authentic feel. Lots of regulars.

In Makdessi street amid dozens of pubs and bars we were relieved to find a place to eat! Although the place is quite small, the welcoming is warm and friendly, (thanks to Wael and Ali) and the food very good. This place is quite a surprise and is to be recommended for its atmosphere and fine cooking

I visit this spot on many occasions, the wine selection is exceptional and the staff make it all the more fun by carefully assisting you to find the right bottle for your mood and night. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is always a treat on it's own while always changing and evolving. Lastly, the staff and service... More

Very authentic French cuisine with a simple and classic decor. Owner was very friendly and recommended their own home made wine which was a good choice with our dishes. Reasonably priced by Beirut standards and service was very personal and good.

Thank Sean G
