The English Tea Lounge overlooking the lobby is an obvious choice. Whether its morning or afternoon tea or herbal infusions, the sophisticated comfort is authentically English to the last detail. A wonderful experience!

A wonderful experience in every way. We ordered the English Afternoon Tea and it came beautifully presented and everything was delicious. The scones were nostalgic; they reminded me and my wife of our time in the UK. The service was impeccable. Would definitely come back at least once a month!

Outstanding food with excellent customer service. They have plenty of tea and coffee options available. Sit back and relax in a comfortable atmosphere that feels just like home. Will not disappoint.

Best afternoon tea ever

Very impressed by the English tea lounge at the avenues mall The quaint decor and the sofas and settees loved the setting with the teapots dotted around opted for the afternoon tea which stayed it was enough for two people however 3 of us shared with some left over The scones were divine and the sandwiches were delicious loved the variety the staff were very kind as in catering to our tastes so we got to choose exactly which sandwiches and cakes we wanted All in all one of the best afternoon teas I have in comparison to the uk and the man who cane with the bill was very friendly asked us where we were from and engaged in conversation with us Thoroughly enjoyable meal very filling and sorted us out for the long stroll through the mall

Not a happy experience..

The food and the place are good. The real bad thing was seat allocation. We made a booking, then we were told to set on certain tables. Even though the whole place was empty, when we asked for another table ,we were told that certain tables were booked for regular customers.. and can not be used by other guests… this is a terrible policy and I am not sure if Sheraton policy is like this.. that will be very strange and not acceptable at all..till we left the place. The rest-of the tables were empty…

Excellent service by front door staff. Very professional and helpful. Valet car service was free. We enjoyed the relaxing environment at the English Tea Room. We ordered 2 set afternoon tea meals. Darleejing tea is really nice. Assam tea leaves an bitter after taste for me. The scones with the clotted cream was amazing. We asked for English mustard this was not available. We did get a selection of mustards. They did the job with the quiche slices. The waiter/ waiteresses were not always around to top up the tea cups. A lot of the tables had reserved signs but were not all taken during our 3 hour visit. On the whole a wonderful relaxing experience.The staff all very professional and friendly. I will definitely visit again. The bathrooms were super clean.

Quaint and cozy but pretty pricey

We enjoyed our tea and scones in the quiet atmosphere on the comfy couches. The food was tasty and the tea was also. We could have easily split one pot of tea and one tray of scones.

Waxy and sonorous ambitious theatricality

Again the grafting lacks subtlety and simplicity. Though it is a majestic space in the Avenues Mall conglomerate it is frugal, unconvincing, pseudo-English, pricey but if you are a theatricality fan and have to sit somewhere give it a lugubrious try

They kicked us out

The worst experience ever had occurred in Sheraton branch. I came with my family and we were 3 people and a minor. We ordered 3 drinks and 2 sweets. After that, the manager came to us and told us that we have to order for each of us at least 1 drink and 1 sweet or we have to leave the Cafe. This is not the first visit but this time was different. Please don't try to visit it or you'll be kicked out!

I visited the lounge with friend to have a cup of tea on Sunday at 10:00 pm. The place is really nice and that's why I give 2 points only for the place. The order taker was good too, however the chef was Really shows very bad body language passing in front of us while eating and singing!!! Write the comment only to avoid it in the future as it really effect the place.

Not luxurious

Visiting my husband, who works in Kuwait, I really wanted a good cup of Earl Grey. We were most disappointed to see that despite being preferred as a quality service, the sugars were in packets in the holder. It should be sugar cubes in silver service. No milk or lemon was offered and the tea was very stewed. Overpriced and not the quality service I've experienced in 5 star tea rooms in England I'm afraid.

With ward welcome from Mr. Mark and his staff, this place is my weekly visit and every time I come to the Avenues mall. Try the new dates pudding with Turkish coffee while sitting outside on comfy sofas.

Great place different experience

The place worth to be in!!! Luxury seats excellent food. If you really want to have great relaxing break go for it. I like the one in Sheraton as its more quite lovely atmosphere!! The decoration and the plates are amazing.
