Very good pizza! Small place makes you feel almost like home. Best pizza in Kuwait, good ingredients. Only to improve the waitress.. not too much professional, nothing like in Europe...

Being a true fan of Italian food, I am always picky about pizza. During my visit to Kuwait my Brother in Law took me to this place knowing my love for Italian, and I guess he wanted to impress me and he succeeded in that...More

Or it might be even the best. The only negative thing is that they have limited indoor tables, deserts too.

Not worth the visit. My wife and I got poisoned after having their pizza. Very crowded place. No parking area. Bad service. People go there to show off. This is an extremely bad restaurant and i would never take my family or even recommend it...More

A local had warned me that there was decent pizza near our office. Near, in Kuwait, often means 10 mins drive on a motorway, so I didn't pursue. We wandered out for lunch and there it was, right around the corner in an interesting little...More

The pizzas available from the small menu are delicious. Once inside, you forget where you are and the simple decor suits the food well. The restaurant itself is very small, so I imagine that in the evenings it could be hard to get a table...More

Description
SOLO Pizza Napulitana (SOLO) There is a little piece of Napoli located in a small corner of Sharq, in Kuwait City; where owner and Pizzaiolo, pizza maker, Amr AlRefai, wanted to introduce the concept of a true and simple Neapolitan pizza experience. Established in 2011, 'SOLO' is the first pizzeria in Kuwait to be awarded the Seal of Authenticity by the Association of True Neapolitan Pizza, "Vera Pizza Napoletana (VPN)", becoming the 353rd member in the world. This pizza is made with the freshest of ingredients, cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven built by fourth generation Neapolitans, and shipped all the way over from Napoli. Flash baked and fire kissed, SOLO's pizza, in one bite, has your taste buds begging for more. When making a pizza, artisan pizzaioli in Napoli are creating a magnificent work of art. All the flavors of Napoli: fluffy handmade dough, rare San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, lush green basil, and extra virgin olive oil come together to create this masterpiece; where "less is more". Like the traditional pizzaioli of Napoli, the pizzeria runs according to a strict code of values: simplicity, authenticity, honesty, integrity, and respect. This small pizzeria conveys all that is Napoli, where old meets new. The delightful smell of pizza baking inviting you in, creates a cozy and warm atmosphere. Step inside 'SOLO', and taking center stage, is the traditional wood-fired oven decorated in tiny tiles of smoky grey and fire red orange. Take a seat in any of the marble tables or at the bar, to get an up close view of the traditional pizza making in action. In the end, all that matters, is that a little piece of Napoli is about to be served steaming hot, right in front of you, and as the Italians say "Buon appetito!"
