It's old, crowded restaurant inside Grand Bazar, Tehran. The restaurant is neat with affordable price and big portion size for one person. The good thing that I like the most is that the owner and waiters all ate there, it means the quality is good....I ordered Barg Kabob. It was soft but the meat wasn't flavored properly. You need to add salt sometimes. Overall, I recommend it.More

We went there twice during my last visit to Iran after our carpet shopping adventures in the Grand Bazar. I tried their Special Koobideh Kebab the first time , and Tah Chin with Chicken Kebab the second time. I also asked for cooked aubergines as...side dish to my Tah Chin. The both dishes were really delicious and the food was more than enough to make one hungry person full. The place was a bit crowded and we had to wait and look for tables and catch empty tables before others which was also fun in a way. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Have already been there twice and will definitely be back.More

It is one of the most famous and oldest restaurants in the bazaar (Tehran), foods were very delicious with good price, but the restaurant was not very clean and generally was very crowded. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

it's true that Sharaf El Islam ( we call it sharaf ol Eslami) is one of the most famous and oldest restaurants in the bazaar, but let's say it's not my personal choice. it's extremely crowded and the quality is not something special. but if...you are at the bazaar with too many bags in your hand and too hungry, well it's not a bad option.More

I am Iranian myself, but I do not live in Iran. We went to this restaurant with my friends. I was ashamed of my friend. It was very dirty. There was a lot of food. Normal quality. Normal price. Unskilled and almost dirty employees ....

Although it is a famous traditional restaurant, its foods are not very delicious. I have a bad memory because I found a few hairs in my food. I don't recommend it and never go again.
