Enjoyed a delicious dinner here recently. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and the staff are really attentive and efficient. The food is absolutely delicious, delicate tastes blended really well in their dishes. I had the scallop and crab with seaweed appetiser and the grilled duck for main course, both were simply divine. The menu has a good range of... More

I have been to Sato in Gulf Hotel many times. They have good Japanese food, but the most i like is the teppanyaki they serve. The beef teppanyaki is phenomenal with vegetable and rice. The Seafood platter is a great choice as a starter. Service can be slow sometimes. You get the feeling that you are in a Japanese traditional... More

Excellent reception with perfect details and a wide variety of tables, to the very typical to the most common ones. We ordered the teppaniaki set D and everything was really great. My only suggestion is that beer should be much colder (iced) which is difficult to find around here.

Sati has been around for many years and is still popular for its high standard of Japanese food. You can sit at the Teppenyaki bar to be entertained by the very able chefs or sit in the sunken dining rooms for privacy with your friends

The restaurant in the luxurious five-star hotel doesn't disappoint your expectation. The corridor which leads to the dining promised me a wonderful ambiance and the structure of the ceiling looks like an architecture of old house in snowy northern Japan. I liked Teppan-yaki. Good veau, nicely grilled. Philipino waiters were very friendly that made me smile.

I had the ring and did not know where to pop the big question and hoped Satos could be the place providing that special atmosphere. Satos most certainly did not disappointed me. The ambiance, authenticity, food and service was the best in Bahrain. They also had Totto which is the fatty part of the tuna and my personal favorite. Special... More

Had a strange meal at Sato. It is the first time I have been at the restaurant in years. Normally I just eat sashimi when having sushi, but decided this time to add some maki roles to ensure I wouldn't leave the restaurant hungry. My meal was strange because I found the sashimi very middling, yet the maki roles (some... More

Visited this restaurant with six business colleagues. Choose the teppanyaki table. The food was average in both taste and presentation. Don't expect a "show" like many teppanyaki Restuarant. Although personable, the chef was below average in entertainment capability. Service was polite, but extremely slow. We spent a significant portion of our time at the table discussing why are food was... More
