Great space, amazing location with great interior. Sushi are very good, menu is tasty but way over price for the value both food and drinks menu.

The salsa night was great and the customers were all friendly and amazing. They came to dance and have a good time. The only drawback was the smoking in such an enclosed area. Normal for this part of the world but NOT in Europe and...USA. Smoking should be done outside but unfortunately this is the Middle East and they smoke indoors. I would have stayed a lot longer but the air quality was a mitigating factor.More
It's quite hard to find information online about the recently opened Italian restaurant on the first floor at Meisei in Block 338 - which is a shame as it's certainly worth seeking out. Our group visited on a Sunday evening which unfortunately meant that waiting...staff outnumbered paying customers. On the plus side, this gave the endearing Chef, a native of Tuscany, time to chat to us about his passion for sourcing produce from his native Italy - always a good sign. This includes the excellent olive oil from Lucca that underpins many dishes, including the wonderful Aglio e Oglio I chose for my first course. Such a pleasure to be presented with perfectly al dente, high quality spaghetti, graced by a well balanced kick of garlic and chili. For me, this was the star of the show, and comparable to anything I've been served in Italy. The grilled sea bream main, so often served overcooked and swamped in ill conceived sauces, simply allowed the delicate flavour of the fish to shine through. The understated sides of steamed vegetables and sautéed potatoes cleverly left the beautifully cooked fish fillets to centre stage. The wine list was a light on mid-range Italian reds, with a disconcerting leap from BD14 to BD50, but the house Sangiovese was well priced and perfectly drinkable. Service was pleasant and attentive, though a little more knowledge of the wines, and the confidence to make recommendations would not go amiss. We would certainly return, but if it is to succeed, we would suggest that this excellent restaurant needs to talk up its commendable authenticity and quality.More
Food got delayed, fish was not fresh - smelly, and service was not upto the mark. I think their chefs / cooks have changed or are not available
Went here with some friends and the place was quite empty. Nevertheless the service was good and the sashimi and beef tenderloin as well. Some sushi makis weren’t that great though
I went here recently for dinner with a friend while in Bahrain for one night. The food was excellent. My friend and I both had the Wagyu beef rib eye which was sublime. Service was also to a great standard very friendly and helpful. Would...definitely recommend.More
Great dining experience with friends. It was on Halloween night and everything was decorated accordingly - staff with costumes included! The weather was lovely and we got a table in the terrace. Food choice is incredible, you do not know where to start! The ceviche...was delicious and there is a great choice of sushi rolls. Grilled avocado is amazing. We also had an amazing bowl of black rice with vegetables - very tasty.More
Great Ambiance is what you notice when you enter ... the food is Yum, the service is good and they have some interesting fusion items
I’ve had better microwave meals rather than from this place...$280 for two people and left most of the food because it was so dry and tasteless and of cheap quality...service was so poor even though we were the only people in the resaurant...After telling the...waiter the food was inedible we wasn’t even acknowledged nobody came to us to say what was wrong with the food as the norm in Bahrain just pay your money and shut your mouth you have no right to complain or get your money’s worth or be asked how can we make your experience better... asked for the sweet menu and was told kitchen is closed usually somebody comes to you in a normal restaurant and says any last order before we close the kitchen...DisgustingMore

Sad story. Ordered Wagyu they bring me mixed random mix , too much expensive. Service cery bad and slow. Food below the everage. Wine to forget. How can be this a good resturant from Tripadivaisor i dont know. Not reccomended
This is a good place to have good food, its a find dining and can enjoy quality food. The place is very clean and nice in design.
A very good restaurant. Need reservation in advance for weekends. Great selection of drinks and food. Smoking area at the bar. Prices are a bit on the high side. Overall good
They served me a bottle of beer that was not right, kind of flat and with a bad aftertaste. I asked the barman to change it and he had to call the bar manager and he refused to change it because the policy of the...bar doesn’t consider that. I would have expected a better service and level of customer care.More
