Their creative website prompted us to dine here at the beginning of the week. Located at Block 338 and nestled among other prominent restaurants one cannot miss the distinct logo of the Attic. The moment you step into the portico; you are lead to a rustic lift through beautiful photographs lining the wall on one side and potted plants on the other.
Once you alight on the second floor again prominent photo frames greet you and even lure you to pause and catch up. The pretty host guides you to the table. As it was a dinner; the lights were cosy reflecting adequately on the decor of the walls and artecrafts snuggled in the crevices.
It feels like settling down to a meal in a quiet lane of Greece. The menu offers cocktails and virgin mocktails. Starters are actually large portions that can be shared. The dish of the day was the dip platter with pita bread. Zucchini fries too were perfectly crisp laced with dill leaves. Vegetarians can opt for the Mousakka layered with vegetables and cheese. Non vegetarian fare with beef, chicken and sea food are available with different options.
Special mention for Linda who coordinated the order and ensured to makes us comfortable with her warm smile and demeanour.
Book your table if it is a weekend. Check the dress code beforehand. Not sure if vegan preferences are catered to.
Attic will beckon you for a visit.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented.
All staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We felt like we were in good hands throughout our meal.

The Attic Restaurant in Adliya is absolutely fantastic! We sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop ambiance overlooking the beautiful city of Manama.
We ordered Martini’s, Mojitos, Tirokafteri and Tzatziki dips with garlic bread, appetizers, Cretan Greek salad, as well as beef and chicken Attic Grill sets (which all came in ample supply). The food was scrumptious and, of course, our bellies were full.
The managing supervisors, Mr. Susil and Mr. Alexandos were terrific and they both went above and beyond to make our dining experience the absolute best.
I look forward to my next visit at the Attic. (They are offering holiday celebratory meals on December 25 and New Years).

We’re quite regulars here, and we usually enjoy the food and atmosphere. However, our last visit was a disappointment because:
1. Food quality has gone done; the salad is over salty and the grills were tasteless and unchewable. The moussaka was dry. The only good dishes were the meatballs and the loukamades.
2. From the moment we were sat down the waiters kept hovering over our table looking for stuff to remove (mind you no other table faced that issue) even though we clearly didn’t finish our food.
3. When we finally finished and were ready for dessert, one of the waiters so rudely commented (oh you’ve finally agreed to clear your table)
4. Seconds after ordering dessert, one of the restaurant hosts came to us saying (oh your time is almost up) though when asking them, they didn’t inform us our table was only for 2 hours. When I politely informed her we ordered desserts she said (oh so how much longer? Only 15 minutes right?)
It’s a disappointment to see where this restaurant has gone to. It used to be very great and the food was really nice. I’d avoid this as they clearly have an attitude problem and have zero customer service etiquette.

The place is very nice but some people at the store are very bad. The music was sooo loud with the speaker being next to our ear and we kindly asked if there is a way to lower the volume since we can’t even talk and we have to shout. I mean it was understandable if they couldn’t lower it but the store literally turned the volume up and it was ever more loud.
Horrible experience, if I wanted to go in a club I would go in a club and not in a cafe/restaurant.

We are familiar with Greek food as we have a place in Paphos so was a bit dubious about trying Attic but we needed have worried. Very nice decor and lovely outside terrace. Pleasant friendly staff and a good menu. Mick had Keftades to start and he said they were as good as our local taverna in the village. I had the Greek style potato rosti which was delicious and i will certainly have again. Mick had the fish fillet in the lemon vegetable broth which he said was fab I have petite fillet steak and my only quibble was that it should have been med/rare and it was well done. But a great lunch and we will be back very soon

We are very familiar with Greek food as we have a place in Cyprus so were a bit dubious about trying Attic but we were very please that we did try it. We were looking for somewhere different to have lunch outside as the weather was so nice and after seeing photos of Attic we decided to give it a go. Nice decor and fab terrace overlooking Calexico. Nice menu with a lot of the usual Greek dishes but also a few that were a bit different. I started with the Greek style rosti and have to say it was delicious. Mick had the keftedes which has said tasted just like Marias in Kouklia, the then had the fish fillet in a vegetable broth which he loved. I had fillet steak and my only quibble was that I asked for medium to rare and Id say this was well done. Lovely friendly pleasant staff We will be back

Attic is one of the best places i’ve ever visited in Bahrain, in each visit to Bahrain i’ve to go there at least once. sometimes twice in a weekend.

Ok, so Adlia is filled with amazing places, so it ends up with who serves you the best.
In attic I've been served with the best possible food and the most amazing drinks all guided by Mr. Susil.

It is always excellent. It is always high quality. You will always come back. Chef Leonardo and his magic. Every dish is amazing. Nothing left on the plate for each member of the family. This tells you all. Plant for two hours not because the service is slow but because you will not want to leave.

The food was great, also the service,really nice atmosphere... from the hottest at the entrance, to the waiters and even the chef came to say hi. It all really made our night excellent. I advise you to try the Greek cheese and also the Tiramisu as a dessert.

Superb venue for large gatrherings or small intimate dining. Have visited both with my wife for a romantic meal, and on this occasion with a large group of work colleagues. The setting on the terrace is magnificent and the service and food first class. Highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere , I love the excellent quality of food ; and oh those cocktails with Greek names are just divine ! Mr.alexandros the manager is simply the best. He’s a real professional at what he does and attic simply wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for his professional managing skills. The staff is really polite and friendly as well , especially miss. Julie the waitress . I always enjoy the good food and positive atmosphere and vices attic has . My favorite drink is “eytyxia” and I die for the “hortopita”

First time, overall a good experience.
We liked:
- Fast drinks and main course service
- Friendly waiter
- Superb dips
- Outstanding cocktail "Ela"
- Stunning and spacious decor
We were not so keen on:
- Guy at reception who did not understand that we had made a reservation and kept asking if we wanted smoking or non smoking, indoors or outdoors etc etc I told him twice we had a reservation but he did not understand. But the lady on the desk was great but she was tied up on a phone call. So this guy should not be in a customer facing role
- Moussaka was incredibly salty and rather dry. This is a signature dish for any Greek restaurant but you have not got it right
- Pricing: Attic is overpriced. When we arrived (8:00pm on s Thursday night) the place was empty. What you can do to make you stand out is a package eg 2 courses and a glass of wine for BD15. None of the other restaurants offer this and yet it will still be highly profitable if you do
