Boring food and poor presentation and very small portions. Maybe we didn't choose well but small portions on all our orders made it poor value.

Great food, attentive service, well spoken English, cozy atmosphere, I definitely recommend this place for visitors to Madaba. Lentil soup was a little different than the traditional lentil soup in Jordan, very good nonetheless. Grilled mix with greek salad was a rewarding choice. You can get the mint lemonade without sugar or with little sugar (this is my recommendation), it... More

The owner laid on a spread of lovely hummus and other filling appetisers, followed by a VERY filling mixed grill, and a soft drink. For 13 JD. Jordan is an expensive place to visit but I let feeling that I'd got good value and very high quality service

Bawabit is located across the street from Saint George's church, they charge higher than average prices. We ordered a few appetizers, salad and coffee. All was enjoyable, unfortunately overpriced.

You should go here for a true jordanian food, they will keep bringing starters for an hour and then in the end meat so be ready to enjoy a lot veggie food, but food is really good. Nice environment as well.

The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. As usual in Jordan, if you have alcohol it bumps up the price considerably. The fish was delicious and the meat eaters were happy with their meals. Madaba Chicken is recommended. It needs a bit of a makeover but with the tourists trade as it is,... More

A friend and I stopped by this place for a few drinks at the end of Ramadan. Only a few tables were occupied so we were able to get a seat by the balcony - which unfortunately has Windows that do not open as the aircon is always in operation. On offer is a selective menu of middle eastern dishes,... More

Our hotel suggested this place as it was Ramadan, near by and would be open. We were glad we did. For a quick lunch we had a few appetisers and they were all delicious and fresh. The restaurant had aircon and a proper coffee machine. Alcohol is also served. Service was friendly and fast Overall, we'd go back.

We ended up going to this restaurant based on the recommendation from Pilgrims' House Hotel, which is across the street. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing. The traditional dish of lamb cubes in thin beduin bread was absolutely amazing! Hands down the best I have ever had!!! The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The owner and... More
