We had a really nice time, nice ambience, music, interiors, hospitality, and food. To be repeated for sure.

Beautifully presented restaurant with warm welcoming attentive and professional staff. Panazella salad was substantial and my husbands cannelloni filled with cheese was beautifully presented. Fish was perfectly cooked and the Veal was both a generous and tasty. No room for dessert sadly. Good quality local...wine and particularly enjoyed Cabernet Sauvignon. Would defiantly recommendMore
The best food & service in an elegant classy best restaurant in Amman . Thank for the lovely hospitality, excellent service, delicious food
There were more excellent than bad trips to this place. We have had the greatest service and the best of food on many occasions. But once in a while, the service and food quality is not as expected. Example: If you have to ask more...than once to have your glass of wine refilled, you know the service cannot be rated as excellent. If the steak was ordered as medium and the meat is still cold inside, you know the cooking was rushed. So, this review is for the last trip onlyMore
The newly refurbished La maison verte still ranks amongst the consistently delicious and great service outlets in Jordan. Based in a quiet neighbourhood in Amman, and offers a great bar scene and very romantic feel to it. The service is one of the best in...the country and after all these years they’ve managed to keep it top notch. Don’t skip the entrecôte and fries pleases. The fondant is to die for. Great place for couples, friends and even business. I prefer visiting for dinner.More
The decor the food everything about this restaurant is extraordinarily And the prices are very reasonable
This is the real gem of Amman restaurants , situated in the heat of the city and it’s definitely the best French restaurant in Jordan . It’s very cosy, relaxing, luxury restaurant with a wonderful decoration and excellent food. We had a foie gras (yammyyy!)...escargot, portobello mushrooms , duck liver escalope and beef , sauce “Cafe de Paris” - extremely delicious -truly recommend everybody to try ! The cuisine is French with a Mediterranean twist, I would say. We’ve been introduced to the Chef Daniel , he is Portuguese and have a high experience of work in many European restaurants before , so we listened to his recommendations and had a wonderful dinner with an excellent service and live music. Also it’s great to have a lunch here - the ambiance is incredible . . Definitely will come again and again and recommend everybody to visit ! So, using this opportunity, I want to thank Chef Daniel and all the stuff for an unforgettable time at La Maison Verte restaurant !More
I haven’t been here in ages. I wasn’t disappointed , the new decor is lovely , very Art Deco. The staff were pleasant and they went out of their way to make me a dish that was no longer on the menu. Had a great...timeMore
Second time in this elegant piece of France in Amman. Ambience is quite elegant, modern with a middle eastern twist. Food is very good. Personnel extremely friendly and helpful. Hard to find this quality even in Paris.
I went with my husband for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and I was disappointed from the moment we arrived till the moment we left! I made the booking 2 weeks in advance and when we arrived there was no one to guide us to...our table... After some waiting my husband waved his hand for attention then the guy came.... He just pointed with his finger to our table instead of walking us to reach it. Our table was not prepared, there was no table cloth or any proper setting.... Only a piece of plastic as a place mat ( the ones you find in a cafe ). Then they brought the bread basket with butter but there were no side plates to use, my husband called the waiter and told him so the waiter said that the table is too small to put side plates ( well, we didn't pick our table)! Then my husband ordered the lobster tail from the menu but it was unavailable then he ordered the stuffed salmon based on the waiter recommendation but it was not tasty at all. I ordered entrecote and it was ok. The chocolate fondant was very disappointing as well...... Simply service and food were very disappointing!More
Very good restaurant amazing standards, I liked the food very much, the decor everything was certainly above other restaurants standards. Would definitely visit again
Stayed in the financial / commercial district and looked for a restaurant for a birthday dinner with friends. From the entrance foyer to the dining room the building exudes class being very well presented. A good choice menu albeit quite expensive. The slow cooked lamb shoulder...was exceptional. There was a good wine list and whilst imported wines were expensive the local Jordanian red wine was good value and very acceptable. Altogether a very enjoyable evening and recommended.More
My husband and I visited La Maison Verte a couple of weeks ago. It was our first visit. They had a lunch set menu offer on at the time for roughly 15JD ++ per person. It was good value, because you got to choose from...either a salad or a tomato soup for starters, and then main course was a beef steak with onion sauce and fries. There was a bread basket and garlic butter served as an appetiser. The dishes were flavorful and the portion size was adequate. The service was good and they staff were attentive. The only downside was that we were the only ones in the restaurant! It has been recently renovated to a very high standard and it's definitely very elegant. I'm not sure if I would visit again, if I did, it would be for dinner, when it's probably busier.More
Wonderful food and service. From warm bread and truffle butter, to wild mushroom risotto and main fish courses... everything was good. Attentive waiters and live music... great, elegant restaurant.
We took the set menus. Smoked salmon swimming in oil with cheap slices of red onions: salmon is served with lemon juice. Fyi. -Was heavy and sticky, surely not fresh. Salad was minuscule. A sample with local veges: really u think that s stylish....? Chicken...breast swimming in heavy white sauce and veal steak breaded in so oily breaded style with morille. : both ultra salty and heavy. At the end as dessert is served a dry crepe style uncooked style cracker with a vanilla ice cream: where it's mentioned on the menu lemon tart.... They dont have heating system it seems: We ended up freezing in the restaurant that makes us just want to leave to a warm place... Stand up to meet the chef local and his team that pretending to be doing good job and serving french cuisines: because it's mentioned french menu terms on the set menus. It s likes I'm talking for nothing as they have no idea of French cuisine standard.. As a result :Big shame experience as the place is looking good but the cuisine and service is that low level... At the end u just leave the place with the feeling of having lost ur time,ur money and also with a turning disturbed stomach due to bad food and freezing room temperature.More
