Visually relaxing sitting area, very refined. The stretch of European style individual cakes tantalize the palate. The larger cakes call for celebrations! Above them stand shelves of the best breads filled with cheese, zaatar (thyme: in its dry state with sesame, and, baked within the...bread, in its green state) small pizzas etc. Even the coffee is excellent. The pastry shop caters for outside orders that sometimes come as avalanches, everyone in Jordan has ordered a decorated cake from Chez Hilda, even Royalty. You could see her, the owner, personally showing albums to mothers or to be brides, of a variety of designs that she is angle to do. She accepts new ideas with excitement, as she loves to attempt the unattainable. I have ordered many cakes from her in the past for every occasion in my family, even transposed my own sketch onto a cake. Hilda’s son has specialized in chocolate making in Switzerland and has a shop next door where he sells them. Again good taste accompanies beautiful designs for various occasions. A good gift for any occasion, at your requested price. I could not visit Jordan without visiting this quaint patisserie/café.More

This is one of the best restaurants In Amman. The service is wonderful and the staff are friendly. The food was excellent, we tried the halloumi salad it was the best salad I've ever had, strongly recommend it. The butter chicken and chicken magma was...also good. Would definitely revisit the next time I am in town.More
