This was a terrific experience. The cooking class was super-fun and informative, and the food we prepared was delicious. This was a great way to spend an evening and to learn a little bit about the traditional food of Jordan. Highly recommended!

The cooking class and dinner was set up at my request by our tour operator and we could not have been more pleased. The class and dinner takes place in a residential neighborhood of Amman in the home of the owners Grandmother, utilizing family recipes....The atmosphere is very intimate. The home is filled with antiques, beautiful plates and photographs. Dinner was delicious. For those desiring wine with dinner make sure to bring it with you. The staff were nice enough to go to the market down the block and pick us up a bottle. Spices/ spice mixes are available for purchase. All told a great evening and would not hesitate to recommend this experience.More

Preparing delicious Arabic food in lovely atmosphere and take home a new experience with new recipes and spices. I suggest to buy spices and make this food back at home and bring some Arabic spirit at your common days. This was the best thing in...Jordan, better than PetraMore

We visited Beit Sitti on the first night of our group tour. It was a great meal (one of the best we had in Jordan). It was also very informative; we learned about some of the unique ingredients (we're all buying pomegranate molasses) and some...new cooking techniques even though many of us are serious cooks to begin with. Highly recommend.More

Too crowded with +20 in a group. We arrived before the group before us left and a new group came, while we were still eating. It became a bit stressfull. Not enough food for everybody either. Nice host and good english skills, but not very...authentic and too stressed of a session.More

This is a wonderful project in which we made Ouzi with an Iraqi woman with very good English. The particular dish we made (Ouzi) was not my particular favorite Arabic one, but the overall experience Is truly outstanding and I am happy to support multicultural...literacy and love the initiative of Beit Sitti. Two thumbs up.More

An experience you cannot miss! Amazing owner, amazing staff and amazing food! This is not a restaurant but rather a cook and dine - so you will eat the food you cook. Must do!

This was one of the best things we did in Jordan. We love to try and understand how local dishes are made when we travel, and have had cookery lessons in several countries. It helps to also learn what certain flavours are - e.g. -...the 'lemon' flavour in the soup was not lemon but sumac . This cookery lesson was definitely the best we had done. Whereas other times we had watched someone else cook, and taken notes, this was very hands on, and my sons learned some good skills in onion chopping and garlic crushing, and the confidence to get in and season the food and prepare well. There is a great team at Beit Sitti, and although the owner was away we felt we had a really good cook, and good explanations of what was being made, and of course we got to eat the results which were delicious. It was great to be able to buy the spice mix that was being used, so that we can have a go at recreating the dishes, with the recipes being on their website.More

I ended up booking this last minute on a whim per the recommendation of my driver and I am SO glad I did. This was one of my favorite experiences during my trip in Jordan. I love cooking classes when I travel, but this one...was more local/authentic and unique. It is run by amazing woman in their grandmothers old house! I felt like I was invited into someones home. The food was beyond amazing and delicious and I left feeling so full in the best way possible. I HIGHLY recommend this experience if you're in Jordan.More

This was a very fun and warm experience. We cooked musakhan, mtabal, cucumber and yogurt salad and rice pudding, with the help of the staff and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend passing by here if you're looking for a non-touristy activity in Jordan
