We were a group of 8 cooking all vegetarian dishes for a 4-course evening meal. Right from the start our hosts were so warm and welcoming. The house is beautifully decorated feeling like the family home it was. We were chopping things, making bread, tasting and asking lots of questions for over two hours. Our chef was fabulous! Then we... More

Great place; welcoming and friendly hosts. The food was great and the steps were very easy to follow. It is quite expensive, but you get a lot from the experience - small tips for cooking. Location was kind of hard to find, but it is in a beautiful house.

Biet Sitti was a truly enjoyable experience. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. It truly felt like we were a part of an extended family where we could ask questions and enjoy the insights into the cultures food. Deema and Al-Rhima were amazing hosts. Al-Rhima even cooked with us while fasting for Ramadan. The food was incredible delicious. My boyfriend... More

Food is good but 30 JOD is very expensive, especially for a vegetarian and they advised they would send the recipes via email - after emailing them multiple times, I have given up and actually do not remember how to make most of the dishes now as they went very fast, told us not to write anything since they would... Upon entering Beit Sitti (Grandmother's House), we were greeted by the owner and offered a glass of mint lemonade as we waited for the others to arrive. We were introduced to the main instructor, a lovely Jordanian woman who spoke little English, and her interpreter, a friendly young man with excellent English. Once everyone had gathered (a group of 5... More

I cannot recommend Beit Sitti enough to anyone travelling through Amman, we organised a long weekend in Jordan and managed to squeeze in a class on our last day before heading back to the airport, contacting Beit Sitti through email and FB was an absolute breeze, they responded almost immediately and answered any questions we had and went out of... I took a few of my students here and they LOVED it. We cooked our menu of choice - we did Magloubeh, mutabbal, farmer's salad and Um Ali for dessert. The setting is beautiful, it is in an onld house in a beautiful neighborhood. the house itself is beautiful and you immediately feel at home. The hosts were wonderful and... More

Myself and my new husband loved our visit to Beit Sitti. We contacted them via FB in advance of our trip and they were quick to reply and very helpful. Our two-person class had grown to four by the time we visited, which was nice as we got to share our dinner with fellow travellers. As the 'first' people to... More

This charming restaurant invites you to come prep and cook your meal-with other friends or even strangers-then enjoy the fruits of your labors by eating it at their table-a fun experience to learn and then to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine-highly recommended
