Very nice place, we ate outside. Very kind and attentive staff (even too much so), we ate good Arabic food with freshly baked bread. In fact, there is a corner with the baker who continuously bakes bread for the restaurant guests. We also drank pleasant Giordano wine. Good value for money. I advise

A traditional Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurant with an easy access and efficient valet service. The place has spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas that are nicely decorated. The staff was courteous and welcoming from the point of taking the reservation, receiving and escorting us to a table of our preference. The order was taken quickly since we had an idea of what to order and the waiter gave some recommendations on what and how much to order. The food arrived shortly and in order that was convenient and within sufficient time to enjoy each course. Now the most important part is that the cold and hot starters and main dish (mixed grill) tasted normally and were good, not great. That was true for the live singer as well. For the price paid and in comparison to other similar restaurants I expected the food to be more tasty and delicious. The dessert and the fruit served at the end were delicious and left a very good impression. Expect to pay around 25 JD per person.

The restaurant is 50 metres from the House Boutique Suites where we stayed in Amman. We had a wonderful meal and returned the next evening. It is a well known restaurant and has served many distinguished celebrities. There is an extensive menu mainly Lebanese. We started with a selection of mezze to share, served with warm pitta bread. Recommended was the Moutabel, Fattet hummus and Galayet Bandora. For main courses we selected lamb chops, absolutely delicious, and grilled chicken, so moist. The service was excellent and the price reasonable for the quality of food. Rami looked after us on both evenings and was a great host

Next door to the House Suites hotel, so very easy to find, excellent menu with lots of choice. We had an excellent meal and the service was top notch. Very tasty lebanese food. Our meal worked out at ÂŁ75 per couple for 2 courses with alcoholic drinks

I am a customer of the Jerash branch, but the Amman branch is also very good. Spacious, warm in winter, and very friendly service by Emad. The food is quite good with some dishes better than others. The grilled Kubbeh, spleen, grills, and Arayes were very good. The Hummus mutammam and the lamb liver can be better. They used to apply complementary discount for big tables and regular customers, waiter promised to do it, and came back with a full bill and no explanation of why he didn’t do it. I did not talk to him about it, but am definitely displeased with the gesture. Good Ambiance and good Arabic food, competes well with other places such as Karam Beirut. But to me, Burj Al-Hamam and Fakhreddine remain superior!

Located in an elegant part of the city close to some Embassies, the restaurant has a lovely setting with indoor and outdoor dining. My favourite part was watching them prepare and cook the manakish bread in the small kitchen right behind our seats. They even invited me back into the kitchen to watch up close and prepared a special basket of bread for me to take back to our table. It was so fresh and delicious and we enjoyed dipping it into the baba ganoush and hummus accompanied by the tabouleh, fattoush salad, kofta and falafel dishes which covered our table. We had a pleasant dinner here on our last night in Amman but there was far too much food for two people.

Staying at nearby House Suites and our guide recommended Um Khalil. We were very glad he did. After a busy day touring northern Jordan we were ready for a good meal in Amman. We hadn't booked but after a charming welcome from the maitre'd we had a table on the terrace. Nice ambience and clearly a place frequented by locals. Service by Emad and his colleagues was efficient and positive. We ordered a range of cold mezzes, salad, and mains and they all arrived quickly. All very tasty and nicely presented. Paired with a nice Jordan River Shiraz it made for an excellent meal. The slices of melon and chocolate pastries rounded off a great evening. We hope to return.

This place was right next to our hotel and an excellent choice for our first night. Service and food were fantastic and the place had a great atmosphere. Love places with a great vibe and the sound of conversation and people enjoying themselves. Our waiter was very friendly, tentative, generally up beat and made us feel very welcome. Food was traditional, full of flavour and well presented. The place was busy and buzzing which is always a good sign. Would defiantly come back.

A wonderful dinner for our first evening in Amman. We had lamb main dishes - the meat was superbly tender. Servings are generous. Homos starter with salad and an excellent special dessert completed the line up, but this was just a small sampling of the extensive menu. Warm welcome from Mahmoud and attentive friendly service from Oman. Throughly recommend!

The restaurant is over rated , went with family the service is good however, the food does not taste so good not Lebanese style it's just like any other restaurant in Amman the portion of food is decent ordered only 5 appetizer dishes and 500 grams of mixed grill meat the bill was 72 plus dinars 100 dollars. I was very disappointed nothing really special didn't even order shisha which was about 10 Jordanian dinars for a shisha which is about 3 to 5 Jordanian dinars at most luxurious restaurants in amman. The over all experience was to me 1 star at most at other places you could have much more better atmosphere, better seating with music and enjoy food more. I don't recommend this restaurant for anyone at least jabal Amman branch.

Absolutely delighted with our experience at Um Khalil Restaurant in Jabal Amman! I recently invited friends for dinner, and every one of us left thoroughly satisfied. The food was simply excellent, showcasing authentic flavors and impeccable quality. The service was outstanding, attentive without being intrusive. Um Khalil has truly earned its reputation as the best place to invite friends for dinner. We all agreed that we’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!

We took a lot of different starters (Meze) and had a great meal. The place is elegant and characteristic but the prices are honest (the main dishes around 12-15 JOD, the various meze 3-6 JOD). They offered us dessert. Beautiful experience. The best restaurant of our holiday in Jordan. Highly recommended. It is advisable to book. If you stay in the Boutique Suites hotel (next door) give them the voucher for the discount.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The restaurant is very large. It would be great for both large and small groups. We sat outside which was a lovely experience. But inside the restaurant is beautiful as well. The menu is expansive with options for anyone. We ordered many hot mezzas to share amongst our table and we each ordered different main meals. Every single item was delicious. Portions were very large but reasonably priced. Some Of our favorites were the hommos beiruti, feta cheese salad, fried halloum, Lebanese house filet, and house chicken. We debated eating here the next night it was so good. Will definitely go back next time we are in Amman.

Enjoy an absolutely gorgeous Lebanese Restaurant. The service was attentive, but slow that night using a team approach - maybe just a case of not being assigned to a certain person or two? The food selections were amazing and delicious and very fairly priced. What a wonderfully decorated space which is very open. We hope to one day enjoy the outdoor patio in warmer weather.
