Don't leave Amman without visiting this pace for a very tasty falafel in a great authentic atmosphere. And: it's cheap!

We live in KSA so hummus and falafel isn't new but here we had a very local experience. Back home, hummus and falafel aren't as good as the ones they serve in Hashem. It is always full and most of the time you have to wait but when we went there in the afternoon around 1630h, there were lots of... More

Hashem is a great place for simple food of limited choice with a super atmosphere and, if you get a table near the street, the best place to people watch in the city. There's no frills. There's no menu. There's no pretentiousness but, as other reviewers have said, the cost of the food will leave you astonished and you will... More

Just go there and let them surprise you! They will serve nice hummus, falafel, baba ganoush and drinks for almost nothing! Don't be scared for the check! It will be cheap!

Since I wanted to have a takeway, it was a separate small stand for making falafel. The falafel was really delicious, but some of the salads for it were finished, so it means you have to come in time, before they sell out some of the fillings and the next batch is not ready yet. Very welcoming service. Always full... More

We always stop here for a snack when we are in the City Center (or if I'm just needing this yummy food.) I gave it 5 stars for food and service. Be advised they do not actually have a restroom specifically for this place. It is shared by the area.

This restaurant resembles he spirit of old Amman . Authentic down town spot , being there is a historic experience more than just eating though prices are cheap and food is good .
