It's a busy place. Simple and cheap. You sit down and they bring you food. All vegetarian food. Great hummus and best falafel I've had!

Went here following a lonely planet guide walk. Got a table inside, waiter told us the menu. Great hummus and falafel, salad and pickled veg with lots of bread. Was delicious and definitely an experience. Well done LP !

Ate here twice and it was excellent both times. They serve the best falafel I had in Jordan. You know it’s good when there’s a picture of the king eating there.

Hashem is a must for all visitors to Jordan. They serve the most popular dishes in a quick and fresh manner, Humus, Fool (broad fava beans), Musabha and falafel are a must, with tea and mint (not soda). You can feed the family with 10JDs

They recommended that I visit this place for an old fashion arabic breakfast, and it was as promised , you literally sitting on the street while you eating and watching life in Amman with a cup of tea , that all what i needed

According to their website it is open 24/7 but if you're not sure you can call them before going in. People go there for breakfast, so anytime after 7am sounds pretty safe to me.
