The local restaurant Hashem is the place where to eat Hummus and falafel. Everyone in Jordan have visited the restaurant in enjoyed the local dishes. I suggest to visit Hashem restaurant in the morning. The price is very cheap with tasty meal. Maybe it needs a bit of housekeeping but it's local street restaurant. I'm general I visit this restaurant... More

Honestly, all of their dishes though 'traditional', have a certain extra 'authenticity' to them. Could be the history of the place - could be the location. Regardless of the reason of how/why 'you'd find yourself at downtown Hashem' - it's always such a magical experience, especially when it happens outside normal dining hours. Make sure to ask for the 'samneh... More

I know this restaurant for more than forty years. The menu is simple, traditional arabic vegetarian dishes. Last time was last week with my family at 4am. It is down town and is always lively anytime you go and usually busy during the day especially weekends, you might have to wait for sometime to get a table, it is also... More

Hashem is located in downtown Amman and offers an authentic Falafel experience. The food is really good, and if one is visiting Jordan, Hashem is a must. Hashem offers the best Hummus, Foul and Falafel in Amman, and the food is extremely reasonable.

Great good. Friendly atmosphere and service. Value for money. Location is great in down town, but parking is hard.

In downtown amman. Best falafel humus and local food. Very authentic all day food at its best. Walk around before you eat in downtown town amman as after you eat you will not be able to walk . Very hard to stop eating even if you are full.

We were in Amman during Ramadan and we had to arrive very early to get a place to sit. It was packed every night. It's cheap and delicious. They will bring you a variety of dishes and you can pick what you want. Be sure to try the foul.

This is one of the well-known middle eastern street food that anyone visiting Jordan for the first time should try, it has the old downtown atmosphere with the popular dishes such Homos, Foul, Falafel among others and it tastes great

It's undoubtedly one of the most famous place in Amman to taste the traditional Jordanian food. Recommended for lunch, you must stop here if you are visiting the city of Amman during a day trip. The location is very simple, as well the service, anyway is the best way to experience the real traditional food. Babaganush and falafel are with... More
