This place only have a big name because its one of the oldest but they have bad service and extremely dirty chairs, tables, floor, kitchen, and food!!! There is a lot of places better than Hashem ... So everyone will recommend it only because its famous name other than that its terrible ...

As promised, the falafel at Hashem is a real stand-out. We were in a taxi on our way to lunch at an expensive restaurant, and our driver pulled over and jumped out of the cab at Hashem, returning with a bag of hot falafel. He said he wanted us to know what inexpensive Jordanian street food was like. It was... More

we (3) had brunch (11am) here 9/1/17. We simply order mixed plates (2 jod each). The food was wonderful & the falafel is better than any i've ever had (fresh & crispy). We all ate everything (including fresh mint, tomato & onion). it looks like the tea may have given two of us an upset stomach .... but we still... More

This unassuming bistro style dining has five star service; the food is fresh. I was able to watch the fresh felafel be made as I walked to my table. This was hands down the best felafel in the Middle East. My partner and I shared felafel, ful, hommus, bread, salad and mint tea each for 7 or 9 JOD total;... More

Loved having a quick brunch here. Service was fast and clean and food including falafel, hummus and fool was great. It's a favorite among locals that's a great sign. Tea was served with food as well that felt very good in the cold. Above all this price is super reasonable!

This restaurant is one of my favs in Jordan. They serve only vegetarian food. Although I am a non-veg fan, I must say I really enjoyed the food here. The falafels were crispy & tasty. The hummus with olive oil and butter beans is to die for.

This is apparently the most famous falafel restaurant in Amman -- so famous that the king eats here regularly. It is best characterized as street food; it's not a particularly pretty or stylish place, but it's really quite good. I ate a ton of falafel, hummus, and pita and drank hot tea for 3 dinar -- about $4.50. The servers'... More
