Jafra is one of many good restaurants service Levantine food downtown and has a spacious room as well as enjoyable balcony overlooking the street. The service is quite good, lots of shisha smokers so be prepared for clouds later in the evening. Food choices range across the spectrum of Jordanian and Lebanese specialties. Lots to choose from and tasty treats... More

Nice vintage cafe in Amman-Downtown. A little bit crowded especially over the weekends and if you are not a smoker you will not enjoy it as there is Argeeleh and even if you set in the non-smoking side you will still smell it. They serve really tasty local food especially the (Manaqeesh).

ALL I'm Gonna Say is, GET THE CLAY POT CHICKEN! Such an atmosphere to this place. The ancient stairs leading up..... If smoke bothers you, don't bother coming here, or to Jordan!

We went during Ramadan at dusk. This meant a buffet was on offer. The salads were simply the best I have ever seen or tasted! Excellent for vegetarians or meat eaters alike. 15JD per head plus drinks. I will be back without a doubt - can't wait to eat a la carte at Jafra.

Food staff and atmosphere were all excellent. Even though it was Ramadan and therefore the restaurant was technically closed at lunchtime, they still prepared us a fantastic meal

We arrived hungry at 2pm during Ramadan with a Jordanian friend to an empty restaurant. However, the chef agreed to cook us lunch. We all had food cooked in clay pots served by friendly and professional waiters. The food isn't cheap but it is plentiful and delicious. Our plentiful leftovers were happily packaged up to take home.

Second floor of a busy street in downtown Amman, its very authentic and the food delicious (waiters do their best to speak English). Highly recommended.

The food is great. An authentic Palestinian place. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Don't order Pepsi or Coca Cola. This place is part of the BDS movement.
