Love the ambience and food. Chicken schnitzel one of the best. Very buzzy but book a table! Always enjoy going whether for lunch or dinner. In a very cool area

This is my favorite restaurant in Tel Aviv. Everything is of the highest quality, always. The service is the best you can get. The chef must be excellent since everything they serve is always made to the highest standards. I love the hamburger, the fish dishes, the pasta with chicken liver, many fabulous starters and deserts. Not to be missed!

Good food, schnitzel is very good and large portions. Cocktails also very good. Very French with an Israeli twist. Will definitely return.

I had dinner at this restaurant and it wins on flavor, wine list, atmosphere (the place is usually full in the evening so book ahead), and the willingness of the staff to cater to allergies and dietary needs. It was expensive but I would pay the whole thing again for the Chocolate Nemesis cake alone.

We found this place on the recommendation of our guide, Zahi Shaked, and we had an enjoyable dinner. It is a very local, not touristy restaurant, and that's a huge positive. But I would not call it an outstanding restaurant, so if you are looking for a peak experience, it may not be the best choice. If you are looking... More

We ate a lovely lunch at this cafe - restaurant. It is indeed much more a restaurant than a cafe. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We ate a delicious pasta sea food dish and a fish. The quality is superb, as is the service. The restaurant itself is situated in the business area of Tel Aviv in old... More

I really enjoyed my dinner here. The food was good, the wine list simple and good. So long as you think of this place as a bistro or nice cafe with good food and not a "fine dining restaurant" then it easily surpasses expectations. I'd go back without question.

Description
Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city, strategically placed between the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Rothschild Boulevard. It's considered aninstitution by Tel Avivians, and our regular customers are business and media people, artists and in fact anyone who appreciates a terrific atmosphere and good food.Cafe Noir extends over two levels, offering a choiceof intimate sitting areas and spacious seating that's equally suitable for businessmeetings or family celebration. The décor comprises dark wood furniture in classicstyle, a spacious and inviting bar, with oil paintings on the walls and art objects arranged on surrounding shelves. Soft lighting effects create the perfect dining atmosphere. On fine days we have outside seating so guests can watch the bustling life on the streets of Tel - Aviv.Café Noir is busy throughout the day and until the small hours – some enjoying a hearty breakfast, others dropping in for a business meeting, and later evening drinks at thebar. We offer a rich menu – such as our lunchtime starter of liver pate with pear confit, sirloin Carpaccio, and chilli shrimps. For main courses, it's a tough decision choosing between our renowned Café Noir schnitzels - chicken breast, pork, or milk-fed veal - and the meat dishes, lamb kebabs, hamburgers, entrecote. Fish, salads and seafood are always reliable options.
