not my cup of tea, service was fine but we waited for a cocktail more than 30 min after we asked two times whats going on with it, they probebly forgot. food was nice but not something to tell back home. good luck!

A pleasurable evening with good friends at the TDL in Tel Aviv.
In short.
Service was attentive and truly excellent.
First and second meat courses, sausages, fried skins, corn beef sandwiches etc., delicious.
Mac and cheese.....a little boring and bland.
French fries standard McDonald standard. Shame.
Main course of over a kilo spare rib to be shared amongst 6 still...

Okay you don't normally think of pork when you are in Israel but there are two kibbutz pig farms so pork is possible. Here at Truck de Luxe it is delicious prepared. It ain't straight outta the dirty South, but it was delicious! My husband especially raved about this place. And the food wasn't even the star of the show. Cocktails, meat and mac and cheese... oh my! Went to Truck de Luxe on Saturday night with some girlfriends. We had EXCELLENT service and even better food. GO TO TRUCK DE LUXE. EAT A LOT OF MEAT.

The food was not good and was served cold and greasy. For the price, there are much better restaurants in Tel Aviv, visiting this place is just a waste of money. On a good note the service was good, polite and helpful.

Pork belly, crispy chicken skins, bacon topped ice cream - what more could you ask for?! This place is great and the only way you can improve on the food is to have a great staff (and they do)!

I've dined in the Jaffa original, and it was great. A friend suggested I try this local one as I was looking for a place to bring my Nephs who completed Basic. Lots of good food, classic and modern drinks. Great location for public transportation. And not too noisy, the curse of many Tel Aviv places
