Food was ok. Kind of sweet and salty at the same time. Would still recommend for people who are busy and on a tight budget. Chicken was ok.

Okay Asian food, cool decor and vibe

I was craving Asian noodles and Chinese food specifically and I came upon Wok Republic. The decor and vibe are cool, kinda a grungey vibe. The chefs are Chinese (I spoke to them in Chinese) but they make somewhat fusion food. The food is not necessarily "authentic" but it's decent and may satisfy a craving. I got the shrimp noodles - it was decent, perhaps a bit too flavorful.

Think midwestern US Shopping Mall Food Court, and you are in the right direction

I didn't have huge expectations, which was good. I was hungry, they were open, and I wanted something "noodly". Had an order of wings, it was the tiniest chicken wing I had ever seen, with barely any meat on them... a waste of time and money. Pad See Ew, I have eaten it many times in the US, in Thai restaurants, wide, flat rice noodles, soy sauce, etc. This... was not it. Not much flavor and no fresh noodles. Veggies and meat were pretty scarce in this dish. I will probably not return.

I ordered delivery from Walt, the food arrived cold, tasteless. Without seasoning, the gyoza was as dry as a desert, I simply remained hungry and the business "stands behind its dish". shame

I ordered take away from the vegetarian menu, and waited 30 minutes until it was ready. when I got home I found out the dish has chicken. Customer service are working until 8pm, so there was no way to reach them. הזמנתי טייק אוואי מהתפריט הצמחוני, חיכיתי חצי שעה, כשהגעתי הביתה גיליתי שקיבלתי מנה עם עוף. אין איך להשיג אותם בטלפון והשירות לקוחות אונליין עובד רק עד שמונה בערב, כשהמסעדה פתוחה עד חצות.

I ordered plane rice. There was a chicken in the rice. I’m vegan for 10 years and never had a horrible experience like that. I truly want to vomit everything. I do not recommend to order there, especially if you have any food restrictions. I am extremely mad! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

A place I will not return to

I ate with my family on Friday night at the Florentine branch. 1. We asked to wash our hands, there was no soap in the bathroom. I drew the attention of the employees to the issue. I was told that there is simply no soap! I asked if there was no soap in the whole restaurant, I was told that there was not. The question arises what happens with the cook and the other two workers who pack the food, how do they clean their hands after they have visited the bathroom, smoked a cigarette or cleaned some dirt.... How did they prepare our dishes and pack them? There was simply no soap at all in the restaurant nor the resourcefulness to go to the nearest convenience store to buy soap. 2. When the food arrived, I asked for a glass so that my little one could drink and me too. I was told there were no cups! Not even a plastic cup. Here, too, the answer was clear and short, without a tone of apology or attempt to resolve the matter. 3. I asked to speak with a person in charge, to get a phone number or to be connected from their phone to the person in charge. I was met with a short and disdainful refusal. 4. I photographed the person in charge at this point who refused to say her name or link me to someone in charge. 5. At this point she went outside, gave the scooter rider, money she had in her hand and took something from him. 6. Her friend arrived 2 minutes later and the employee went to a table outside, grinded herself some weed and rolled herself a nice joint. I have never written a bad review about a restaurant I ate at, even if the meal was not good. To see the employees who completely underestimate their workplace and to understand that I, the customer, is a nuisance for them, was beyond my ability to panic! And the food, nothing to write home about.

Disappointing, even for street food.

Bottom line first: Disappointing. Out of 3 Fisher ordered 2 were totally inadequate. - Coconut beef rice has no taste, lake a cardboard mash. - Tokyo beef is rich in sauce and onion but the "beef" in there is like the worst beef I saw in any dish in my life, this type of beef may be suitable for long cooking, but certainly not for wok - Bombay chicken is ok-ish, but nothing to write home about. I doubt Wok Republic will stay with us for long and rightfully so.

Don't recommend - bad service

Just had a take away. Got a merely half full box. Called the place and talked to Omri the manager who tried to convince me that everything is measured so it is what it is and basically couldn't care less. You be the judge

Veggie disaster

In a veggie noodle dish, veggies should be the star. They were few, cooked beyond mushy and served soaking in a sweet, sticky soy sauce with noodles that were just alright. Can not recommend.

Not an Asian restaurant!

Unfortunately I found out that there is nothing authentically Asian about this place. I tried 2 noodle dishes which were really awful: the "green noodle" (because many had recommended on Tripadvisor), which were like Italian pesto noodle with tons of added sugar (barely edible), then I tried Pad Thai, one of the worst I ever had: completely tasteless, no tamarind, no fish sauce, no spice, nothing. I don't understand the Israeli taste for this. It is over sweet and not interesting at all (for someone who appreciate real Asian food). Wasted money

A good hot a large meal at a decent price

Cold rainy evening in southern part of Tel Aviv. A few patrons on the premises. Line at the counter flowed quickly. I ordered a shrimp rice meal. Came in a large carton, many big shrimps with herbs and under, a hot bed of great rice. Each of us enjoyed the fun. Price for 3 full meals and drinks, 124Nis. GREAT. My daughter asked her portion wrapped. It came in a brown paper bag, no handles (!?). Someone was thrifty, watching the budget.
