Java - it’s a nice place to have breakfast or lunch with the friends. The atmosphere is warm and everything is simple. Girls waiters r always friendly and smiling. There is an amazing tasty salad Kuskus - try it !

Lovely place - the service is wonderful. I had the shakshuka - the eggs were perfect consistency and the tomato sauce was extremely flavorful and not too spicy. My mom had the omelet sandwich which she enjoyed. Hip and cool vibe.

I’m such a happy vegetarian after eating here - the shakshuka! The challah! The crisp veggies! And the vegan chocolate cake. Eat here. Eat often. You won’t regret it. Sooooo good. Soooooo very good.

Stumbled across this oasis of calm as the breakfast place opposite was full. Didn’t expect much, but was immediately made very welcome by the red head at the bar. She took time to talk to us despite a busy service. The food and drink was...More

A nice place in a nice location. They have a discounted menu until 10 in the morning but when we were there it seemed to me like the wait staff disappeared about 10 minutes before and returns 5 minutes after 10 to tell you the...More

Boring dinner menu with high prices. There are plenty of restaurants around with a better atmosphere and food.

Very nice place, good standard food, like burgers, burritos and salads. Good selection of reasonable priced beers. Always packed with local crowd, which is a good sign. Young waitresses deliver good service and are really trying not to be too snotty... . I liked that...More

Description
Opened in early 2014 JAVA Café is already creating a buzz. Just steps away from the beach in Central Tel Aviv, complete with wooden architecture, bright colours and lots of greenery, JAVA gives the sense of sitting in a beach house on a tropical island in the Pacific (look closely and you’ll even see monkeys “hanging around”). With its summertime soundtrack, giant beach umbrellas and unique lighting, JAVA promotes a diverse atmosphere. Come on a date, come for a business meeting, come one, come all – bowties, surfboards and sandy feet are all welcome. Friendly wait-staff welcome you to wander in to taste the eclectic menu. Some customers like to pop in for a coffee, a fresh juice, a shake or an Acai-berry breakfast, while others enjoy an original take on Israeli classics like Merguez-sausage Shakshuka or Burekas with fried egg and avocado. The kitchen is open from morning-till-late, offering meals such as Green Cous-cous Salad, Slow-cooked Stews, and if you can’t decide on one item, have a bit of fun with the original concept of “sharing dishes”. “Sharing dishes” are served on specially-designed platters – order 3 mains and pay for 2, order 4 and pay for 3 and so on. JAVA is fully-equipped with high-chairs and sofas, but don’t be fooled – this beach café transforms into a beachy-sheik hangout with a full-bar featuring house-bottled wine named “Cheap”, “Good” and “Great”, all at the lowest prices in Tel Aviv. Passers-by slow to a stop with wide eyes taken in by the décor, aroma and down-right feel-good vibes.
