Cute place for teenagers looking to celebrate a birthday in TLV. Simple, and reasonably priced. Large choice of food, so good for all sorts. Outdoor seating as well as, indoor seating. Great people watching.

I enjoyed a Balkan Shakshuka for breakfast .. friendly staff, and tasty food. I returned at lunch time for an enjoyable Thai red chicken curry.

Breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, dinner, post dinner night cap - they’ve got you covered. I come here with friends, family, business coffee meeting, or by myself, and it’s always the best service and awesome tasty clean food.

Informal place with nice menu and lots of different options at different prices. Awesome breakfasts wether it is a coffee with sandwich or a bigger one. The staff is young and usually they are kind and smiling..

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a terrible service experience at an Israeli restaurant. This really tops everything else. We ordered a burger which was served cold. Waitress wasn’t too friendly and the second burger came late. Fine, maybe there was a mixup....More

May be I am not objective enough, but I have tested almond cruassants in tens different cafes in Tel Aviv and find Java's the best. Also coffee is good, service perfect and prices moderate.

We came there for late dinner and had vegetarian dishes, which were very tasty. The place is cosy, service is nice and friendly. Quite a good place to meet friends.

Opened in early 2014 JAVA Café is already creating a buzz. Just steps away from the beach in Central Tel Aviv, complete with wooden architecture, bright colours and lots of greenery, JAVA gives the sense of sitting in a beach house on a tropical island in the Pacific (look closely and you’ll even see monkeys “hanging around”). With its summertime soundtrack, giant beach umbrellas and unique lighting, JAVA promotes a diverse atmosphere. Come on a date, come for a business meeting, come one, come all – bowties, surfboards and sandy feet are all welcome. Friendly wait-staff welcome you to wander in to taste the eclectic menu. Some customers like to pop in for a coffee, a fresh juice, a shake or an Acai-berry breakfast, while others enjoy an original take on Israeli classics like Merguez-sausage Shakshuka or Burekas with fried egg and avocado. The kitchen is open from morning-till-late, offering meals such as Green Cous-cous Salad, Slow-cooked Stews, and if you can’t decide on one item, have a bit of fun with the original concept of “sharing dishes”. “Sharing dishes” are served on specially-designed platters – order 3 mains and pay for 2, order 4 and pay for 3 and so on. JAVA is fully-equipped with high-chairs and sofas, but don’t be fooled – this beach café transforms into a beachy-sheik hangout with a full-bar featuring house-bottled wine named “Cheap”, “Good” and “Great”, all at the lowest prices in Tel Aviv. Passers-by slow to a stop with wide eyes taken in by the décor, aroma and down-right feel-good vibes.
