This is a kosher restaurant that serves classic Israeli food. I stopped by for lunch today by myself and sat outside. There's a good choice on the business lunch menu at NIS 58 which includes a starter and main course with two sides but not...drinks. I chose to pay NIS 16 extra to have red snapper as my main. First off, they brought me two pittas with hummus, tomato salad and spicy pesto dip as a nibble. Then the starter (I chose salad) which wasn't bad but under-dressed. The main was a very generous plate of two fish fillets and lots of French fries and salad. The fish was not so good, over-cooked and coated with an odd spice rub. I think it was frozen fish. The French fries (frozen from a packet) were under-cooked inside. Bottled beer (33cl) is NIS 20 which is cheap for TLV. OK, the food wasn't great, but this place is located right on Rothschild Boulevard with a nice seating area at the front to sit outside. The service was friendly and helpful. The place is clean inside and out although the toilets need improvement. For the price I paid, this place is good value for lunch given its location. I have no idea what the prices are like in the evening. They cater for many groups so this place is definitely recognised for its value for money.More

My Birthright group (for the 27-32 age group) had dinner here on our last night in Israel. Since it was such a large group, they set out plates and we ate family style - so I didn't order off the menu. But everything I tasted...was really good - hummus, tahini, falafel, kebab, salads, etc. It was a good meal overall!More

When you enyter during lunch hour a restaurant in Rothschild Bd. which serves basic Israeli food for some 25 years and it is practically empty it is clear that the place is in trouble. Even the fact the shift supervisor (owner?) was vey polite and...offered free coffee could disguisechange the fact that the food was not good enough. A small industrial humus plate, a frsh but tastless salat and the kebab? well there are a number street food counters in the city that would not dare serve this quality.More

This is our fourth visit to the restaurant, each time we enjoy the fresh and tasty food, the good service, the best "hummus" on Rothschild, the best kosher meat roasted on a grill. We arrived a large hungry group, and got the best value for...$ at the middle of the most beautiful boulevard of Tel AvvMore

Perhaps they weren't able to cope with a group of six that pre-booked, but the meat that was served was raw, even with a set menu.

I would use only superlatives in this review. I refer to menu choice, quality of food and price My only criticism is that we all felt a little rushed. We chose the business lunch after a starter of humus and pita bread. The food was truly amazing. We...will eat here againMore

We went here with a group of 15 people. The food was good and the service quick. The Kebab was really good, maybe a bit small. Really good: they showed flexibility to special wishes. So all in all, recommendation.

We ate in the restaurant as part of an official event. The food is very basic, so much that it's hard to understand how a restaurant of such low level manages to make profit in Rothschild avenue, a place with some of the finest restaurants...in Tel-Aviv.More

I really enjoyed my meal here. For a kosher place, they have a nice business lunch and make a great burger and schnitzel. I really suggest coming here.
