I am a vegetarian and my wife not, we therefore are always happy to find places with good food for both of us. Gideon, the chef, has a large menu containing really different dishes to what we normally see. I had a curried tofu dish...with a lot of vegetables , my wife chose the chicken salad flavored with a delicate blend of ginger and lemon and soy sauce, both excellent. Even though we were both hungry, we could not clean the plate, so we we took it home. One of our kids, who lives next door, found the chicken salad and he was amazed at how tasty and delicately balanced it was. The food is fresh, the sauces are made in-house and uses modernistic cooking in that nothing over-powers any of the other flavors. His delicious cakes are like the food - amazing. His clientele create an atmosphere that reminds me of when I was attending a two month course in Paris. He is at Ibn-Gvirol number 8. Enjoy.More

First night in Tel Aviv and found this little gem for light dinner before crashing from jet lag. Vegan tomato soup, stuffed grape leaves, warm focaccia fresh out of the oven with tapenade and olive oil - all delicious with delightful service. Very casual atmosphere...and reasonably priced.More

This is a lovely little neighbourhood place for a "little something" almost 24/7. There are salads, pastas, a couple of meaty dishes, and lots of baked goods to choose from. There is a small but respectable wine list, including wines by the glass. The Israeli...breakfast is different than the average one, very good if you don't want the big meal first thing in the morning. packages of cookies, too. Good value for a cafe, esp. as cafes tend to be over priced here. Wish I had time to drop in here more often!More
