Food is good, above average for Tel Aviv. Waitress ordered a full breakfast when asked for an egg on the side. Be careful how you order and what she understands. Otherwise, a quiet neighborhood bistro in European or American standards.

We love the food. The firsts dishes was very good: The Polenta was very good, Endive 🥬 & Gorgonzola salad dressing was perfect and the Pizza was good. The main course was very good: the fish and the two pastas was perfect and the desserts...🍨 as well. We are willing to give the restaurant 5 stars, but it must improve there service. We will give them another chance because we love the foodMore

Very cozy place with good and friendly service. We were seven people and every one ordered something different. There was no dish that was not good or just excellent: antipasti, pizza, pasta and dessert. And very good and not expensive chianti, as well. Oder in...advance! By the way, a very big underground parking is just in front of the restaurant, what is very important for Tel Aviv.More

Is a good Italian restaurant, a good variety of dishes and drinks, a very good linguini seafood with homemade pasta. I recommend.

The menu is not extensive, the description is basic; we thought the taste would be mediocre at best. What a pleasant surprise when our dishes came. They were very very good; no wonder the restaurant is always packed and reservation is recommended. We came very...early for dinner, no reservation, we got lucky they gave us seats in front of the open kitchen which was nice. Watching the chef and his crew preparing dishes was mesmerizing and we knew that fresh ingredients only used for our dishes.More

When two years ago our favourite Italian eatery on Ben Yehuda street closed down, we started looking for replacement - and found it rather close from there - on Basel street. Rustico Basel is part of a small chain of Italian restaurants ( there are...three of them), but this location is preferrable for us - on a quiet street with high-end boutique stores. On our last visit we went for two starters, pizza and pasta - and my wife claims it was a mistake: portions are generous. But with the help of two quality cocktails we finished carpaccio and onion crostini (both were really good, and interplay of caramelized onions and Gorgonzola was just right) and were ready for main courses. If one wants wine and not cocktails, wine list is well-balanced, with enough options by the glass (wines are mostly Italian and Israeli). Both main courses were also of a generous size, but, being really tasty ( this time we opted for Pizza Florentina and beaf tenderloin pappardelle) - this is a plus, if you are not trying to lower your weight. So finally we were ready for dessert and some grappa. Prices are reasonable for the quality one receives. Service is fast and attentive ( and the place was full to the point of bursting, mind you, with many families with small children).More

We ate last Friday and enjoyed very much. The food is excellent: the first dishes and the main dishes both, are very good. Nice selection of pizzas, meat, fishes and seafood. The dishes are very kind and the value for money is good. If you...like Italian food we recommend very much. EnjoyMore
