Our tour group stopped here for a casual lunch after visiting St. Peter’s Church. To make the process easier, we had 2 choices: shawarma or falafel sandwiches. The food came in a reasonable amount of time for our group of 30. I found it odd...to have french fries in the sandwich, but it tasted fine. I recall the food being somewhat pricey for what we got, but the interior was charming and clean. Certainly, worth a visit if you're in the area.More
This bakery has the most delicious pastry I have ever eaten! The selection is huge and everything tasted unbelievably good. AND: I have forgotten my credit card in the store in the morning and realized it in the evening. When I went there to ask...if they saw my credit card, they still had it and gave it back to me. I was so happy! The staff there is very friendly. I can recommend this bakery to anyone!!!More
First off, please be aware there are two restaurants with the same name. The "fast food" section of the restaurant is on one side of the street, while the sit down restaurant is on the other side. We went to the "fast food" section and...were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious, fast, and inexpensive. Our biggest problem was lack of description for what items were, how much they cost, and how to order. After watching a few different people, we ordered simply by how food looked in the case, without really knowing what we were purchasing. However, everything was great and food quality was superb. We'd recommend for a quick bite or late night snack.More
This is a well known place with a very good bakes, bagels and more. The food is great for those who like baked dough. I strongly recommend their Cheese Sambusak.
I'm only giving this restaurant 1 point since I can't give it a 0 or even -1000000. That was the worst experience in a restaurant ever. Food's not bad, however they don't respect their customerst. The one who's supposed to take our order acted like...she's doing us a favor by taking our order, she didn't take us seriously and kept rolling her eyes and mocked us in front of our eyes! I've never been more disgusted. BTW they didn't even apologize for her disgusting behaviour, one of the employees actually encouraged her! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.More
Huge portions and very good food. We can only recommend it! In the price of the main course there are starters, lemon juice and coffee with sweets included.
We didnt have an experience with being charged too much as other did, We got charged too little if anything. Food was great. Service was on time. Would go back again, but with more people.
As other foreign critics mentioned - the owner completely cheated with the price and charged ~20-25 Shekel for each piece (still water, coffee, bakery stuff), it's a mess! So the takeaway breakfast cost us 160Shekel for 3 people, like a good dinner at a restaurant...:(. No bill and no written prices!More
Popular restaurant with oriental aroma. Good service, although prices are a bit expensive, but problem with parking. For opening fresh salads and wonderful hummus with hot peppers and still grilling meat or fishmonger; at the end of the coffee (or tea) with baklava.
