This restaurant, located upstairs (without elevator access), is spacious with low couch seating. It offers a fairly limited menu. But, the food is very good, authentic and the atmosphere is very pleasant, relaxed.
I ve heard about this place almost 15 years ago,but only nodays found time to visit.Laid back atmosphere, relaxed background music, comfortable sitting for every taste.Tasty food, desert and tea with milk was a pleasant surprise
I decided to try 24 Rupe after receiving multiple recommendations to try it. Upon arriving to the location I only found a motorcycle shop and was worried I went to the wrong location, but after calling i was led upstairs to the restaurant. I instantly...see a shoe rack where everyone leaves their shoes before going into the restaurant and I immediately knew this would be something special. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I ordered the special not really knowing what it was but knowing it was vegan I didn’t have any worries and just went with the flow. Food was tasty! Very clean food made with love. Dessert was better than the meal itself. I am not vegan but I’m allergic to dairy so I try to visit vegan restaurants and always try any dessert or shake we had. I forgot what it was called but I ordered some sort of chocolate coated vegan cake with vanilla ice cream made from coconut milk on top. IT WAS AMAZING!!!
Thanks, I had fun.More
Expected more from a restaurant at the top of TLV Indian food list. The food was ok, but not special in any way. We tried the main thali and additional dishes on the side. Coming from Asian roots, the momos and samosas we ordered are...nothing like I am used to eat from home. Quite dull and tasteless. Guys, you have to try harder...More
Looked on Trip Advisor for a place to eat and located 24 Rupees. On a whim decided to come and try it out.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Our server was polite and cordial made me feel like a long time patron. (from your friend...Dustin Hoffman/Leonard Cohen)More
After walking in the sweltering heat of Tel Aviv, a relaxing atmosphere welcomes you on the 2nd floor where you take your shoes off, sit on cushions and eat nearly authentic Indian food (nearly, because it sure isn't as hot and spicy as in India)....Sip your chi tea and enjoy as is everyone else in the room.More
We called in advance to see if it was baby friendly and they said yes, carried our stroller up the stairs and it was so worth it!
At lunchtime it was pretty quiet and the food was all free refills. It was so tasty and...the staff were really nice.
The floor seating was perfect for our baby to join us without being stuck in a high chair too :)More
