I'm baffled this place has such a good rating. The waiters are very nice here so I'm giving it two stars, not none. The atmosphere: freezing cold, echoey room, bad incandescent lighting. Nothing to make the space feel cozy. The food: There was zero effort...or love. Granted, I got the world's most expensive veggie burger from a meat restaurant, but it was served on a bog standard supermarket bun with a sad bit of lettuce, a slice of pickle and a slice of tomato. The fries that came with the burger were crunchy in the middle and soft/soggy on the outside. I could have spent half the price in a fast food joint. Another friend got a burger. Her's was almost inedible. A few people in our party were happy with the steaks. Note: I'm vegan. But I came here because this place has a full vegan menu (3 items) that they promised is gourmet. And apparently the best vegan dish - which costs 165 shekels!!! (more than $50!!!) - had run out. The wine... there is no wine menu, so you have no idea what you're ordering. The waiter brought 3 bottles over for us to try. All of them, weirdly, cost 265 shekels per bottle, about 100 shekels more than is necessary for a decent bottle of wine with dinner. The wine we chose was nice but the whole wine process felt almost manipulative. We all felt a bit duped for falling into a tourist trap. Tel Aviv tourist traps are generally delicious, if a bit pricey, but this one is just ridiculous.More

Do not visit this restaurant! We waited 2.5 hours just for drinks and starters and no food! Manager is a terribly rude man and said he couldn’t care less that we weren’t served. I feel bad for the waiter as he was on his own...in the restaurant but let me tell you DO NOT VISIT HERE IF YOU WANT TO EAT GOOD FOOD ON A FRIDAY!!!More

Food was not interesting. Cooking our meet on a stone is a gimmick that doesn’t work well. Service was slow and strange. The wine selection includes only 3 wines, none was very good, only OK. We sat in the garden, the smells from the street...were disturbing. And we were bitten by mosquitos.More

It's a peaceful nice restaurant which we past by coincidence. We sat outside surrounded by tropical plants and enjoyed the good service and a very good meal. The old historical building in colonial style was an interesting change during our week in Tel Aviv. Two...bottles of Shiraz from chateau de Galilee will join our way back home to Austria. Thank you for a really nice evening!More

What a wonderful experience. My sister and I came here for our last meal of our holiday. What a way to end our break! Stunning restaurant. Amazing friendly and knowledgeable staff and most of all delicious, fresh and beautifully presented food. I had not eaten...any meat since being in Israel (6 days!) And I'm a big meat eater so this was the best way to refuel my red meat tank! Simple yet stunning. Love the hot stone idea, I didn't need it as I love my meat almost blue my sister loved using her stones. Wine was spectacular. Even the simple salad was mouth watering! Yes it is pricey but so is everything in Tel Aviv. But here you get what you pay for 5* food and service. Star this place. Add it to your favourite list and make the effort to go for a great meal. Also, the location is great and it's nice to get out of the noise of central Tel Aviv.More

This restaurant is located in a historic building which was the first hotel in Tel Aviv. It offers excellent meat as well as wines selected from little producers you get to taste before making your choice. The meat is of premium quality. Definitely recommended
