I was not at all planning to write a review of my dining in Tel Aviv (on the first night I got there), but this place was so bad that I had to. I arrived after 2 days of practically no food at all (I have to confess that I do not eat anything on airplanes), and was looking forward... More

While staying at the near by Intercontinental hotel, I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. The reviews sounded good so I gave it a try. What a great find! The chopped liver was great as was the cauliflower stuffed with ground beef (the red sauce had a variety of spices including cinnamon). The chopped liver brought me back for another... More

I had been referred to Ha Kovshim by the concierge at the Intercontinental where we were staying. He said,"You'll love it!" And he was right. It was so good I ate there twice in three days. It is small. I almost walked by it the first time. Outside are, perhaps, three or four tables, with about the same number inside.... More

Nice cafe with friendly staff and authentic Israeli cuisine. Variety of vegan options but also caters for meat eaters. Well located a short walk from Carmel Market and the beach.

I passed by this restaurant while I was on my way to another restaurant, and out of sheer laziness, just decided to give this restaurant a shot. I'm so glad that I did. I ordered the chicken shawarma, and a salad, and I enjoyed both. The food was so good that I came back a couple of days later and... More

We went there for breakfast on our first morning in Tel Aviv and no joke, it was probably the best croissant I've ever eaten. We also had a waffle with some savory toppings (can't remember what it was called) but that was also delicious. Great place, and highly recommended if you're looking for a good, hardy breakfast or just a... More
