A few minutes walk from our rented apartment and the beachfront. We popped in to charge our mobile batteries while waiting to book in and wait for our FB and home friends, who were sharing with us. Welcome, friendly hosts with an English menu for those not au fait with Hebrew. The menu is extensive with breakfast, possibly lunch and... More

This restaurant was conveniently located on our street, but we visited for three days in a row! It was that good! Coffee and all dishes they had (cigaros was not available) were exquisite, prepared with passion and love! Really good, especially on sunny days to charge your batteries before a day's walks in Tel Aviv!

Our friend who frequently visits tel aviv recommended this gem to us. It was easily one of our favorite meals during our visit. It's full of regular local patrons and has a very relaxed and warm vibe. We got the bread, gnocchi and schnitzel. I would highly recommend the gnocchi! The schnitzel was great as well but I'm actually not... More

We had dinner at Hakovshim Bistro late last night. After a long day of travel it was prefect: a low key, relaxed atmosphere restaurant with great food and good service. We shared two appetizers (chipped liver and a mushroom dish I had never heard of; both were great) which was more than enough food for a late night meal. Wines... More

Small, cozy restaurant with a good variety in their menu. They are quick to cook and it tastes really good. Fair prices.

The restaurant was suggested by our hotel concierge as close to the hotel. The fare was great - not traditional middle eastern exactly but with local ingredients (just 2 blocks from Shuk HaCarmel open air market). Food was great and reasonably priced. Service was friendly. As noted in title, it was NOT unpretentious as so many restaurants of newer vintage... More

We visited Tel Aviv for four days. This place was not far from our hotel and good enough to go there twice. Normally we would try different restaurants all the time on short trips. The service was good even excellent on the first day with a young lady who managed everything fast efficient and friendly. There was no problem to... More
