Kab Kem is a celebration, an act of leisure. It is a culinary experience that originated in thailand and refers to a meeting between friends or family, an evening accompanied with food, alcohol and music. The food in a Kab Kem meal is piquant and spicy. The alcohol accompanying it washes your mouth, sets the mood, and prepares you for the next bite. Amazing food and atmosphere. Great if you can't eat gluten too!

This is a really cool place! The food was bursting with flavour, succulent and fresh. We ate it like Spanish tapas but I think there are bigger dishes too if you don't want to share They told me to ask for what I want when it comes to cocktails as what they serve is more extensive than the menu. So I asked for a pornstar (martini). They didn't have passion fruit so they made me a martini with grapefruit and honey - it was absolutely delicious! A big thank you to Luc (and I'm sorry I didn't catch the waitress's name)! I can't believe they were down four staff members (due to having to go into isolation because of corona virus policy) service was really good! I hope to come again (Dani from London)!

Great Asian restaurant...but not worth the price

We've visited Kab Kam during the weekend with a couple of our friends. The hostes and waiters were very inviting and the overall environment was great. We started with Som Tam salads, shrimp and fish egg rolls (poppa Tale...or something in that neighborhood:-) ) which were good. We also ordered the wining starter dish, which was white fish inside a lettuce leaf with, I think it was was, fried coconut, and cashew nuts in tamarind sauce...super tasty. We continued with vegetarian, and sea food main courses which were Ok, but none of them were worth the cost: tale pad cha, and pad Kapaa tale, pad pad ceau ..almost $50 per the 1st two main courses. There are many other Thai options it TA which don't rip a hole in your wallet. For the entire meal we've spent I average ~450 ILS incl. Tax, cocktails and tip.

Didn't live up to (high) expectations

This place was highly recommended by a friend, who's a chef. The menu is divided into three sections: small bites, mid-course ('beinayim') and mains. After eggrolls from the small bits section, which were adequate, we ordered chicken legs from 'beinayim' and pork belly slices (Moo Pad Cha) from the mains. The chicken legs came accompanied by papaya salad AND a big portion of rice, which didn't really seem necessary, whereas the pork came accompanied by nothing, although we felt some rice was badly needed to offset the spiciness of the dish. Very strange division into what is considered mains or 'beinayim'. When the prices are high, e.g. the cheapest glass of wine is NIS 42 (€10), you have somewhat high(er) expectations, which, in our case, were not met. I'd go back any time to the Thai House in Bograshov, with much more reasonable prices.

Excellent Restaurant, Great ambiance, good music, amazing food & bar, professional, very friendly and generous service. Order before 7:30pm and get 20% discount is their concept and we allowed our waiter to choose for us. We will definitely come again.

I love it! Spicy food with lot of taste explosions and drinks

I was alone and asked for a place at the bar, which I got. I got help with the menu and choosed 2 starters and the main course. As I got my food, the barkeepers explained everything and I got a tasty whisky. Even if I was alone there I felt very welcome and had very good evening. Thanks guys for having me.

We got two meals on one plate, without prediction. Didnt know at all about it. The Waiter didnt tell US anything. For the check we were wainting 30 minutes. The meals were very small, the service unproffesional. We were expecting on traditional Asian Food, as it was reccomended on Tripadvisor, but they dont even offer curry. We left the restaurant hungry.

AMAZING!

Best Thai food I've had in a long time and I live in LA! Server asked us what we like and created a 3-4 course meal for our table! Everything was excellent! We took our kids ages 7 and 10 and the restaurant worked with us as it's really not kid friendly in terms of the menu, but they loved the food!

OVERPRICED for small dishes

I WILL NEVER COME BACK We used to come to this restaurant once a month and it was great. Now after we haven't been for a year BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! The portions were MINIATURE and the taste was average. The cocktail was 75% ice - not even possible to order without ice, we tried. The fried sea bass with cabbage used to be huge! Starter that was easy to share with 3 people in the past. Now it was the third of the size it used to be, with 4 small pieces of fish for almost 80 shekel! The fried fish for 138 shekel was also smaller. Also off season they didnt have mango and replaced with apple- which we knew though!The dish was too sweet. The sticky rice was also half of what it used to be! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I am not sure what happened? It didn’t feel like a special restaurant worth the money anymore.

We arrived Friday evening for our first visit.Our waiter Or gave us excellent service..great impute..great reccomandations.. and created a great evening for us..we had one of the best dinners in Tel Aviv..we will return for sure

Good Choice for Thai

Lunch for three with favorable experience with most of the dishes means that if you're looking for Thai food put Kab Kem on your list. The place gives the impression of being more of a bar place than a restaurant so dinner experience could be different.
