This restaurant is an unfortunate example of a place that believes that with high reputation, it can afford treating its customers poorly. We are unlikely to be back. Hoping to enjoy a view of the sunny beach on a winter day, we called two days ahead to book a table near the large windows. They said they cannot guarantee it,... More

Raphael is a great fancy restaurant! While the new design was less appealing to me, the food remained fresh and beautifully served. Most of the dishes are good, but there might be some inconsistencies between various dishes ( a small portion of). To summarize Raphael is a great restaurant, even thought it's a little overpriced ( except on Saturday).

Had the business lunch and was thoroughly impressed. Quick and professional service, beautiful view, and spectacular food. The dishes weren't anything unexpected, but each was immaculate. To top it all, the price was quite reasonable for a restaurant of this class.

As I live across the road, I have started to go to Raphael for convenience. It is always packed and I now know why. The food is consistently good, the service quick and obliging and the bread is to die for, doll!! The vIews are magnificent. It's a pity this restaurant is not kosher.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Ordered from the business lunch menu-- salad with parm. cheese..( hardly any -- I expected several good shavings of it since it was mentioned) ...the rest was plain lettuce with a mustard dressing which was quite lemony-- needed more oil. The bread was good. I thought about ordering the steak from a fat... More

I was able to secure a seat at the bar, arguably the hot spot of the venue. My barman and server was a darling and passionate about the menu/vintages. I 'settled' for champagne, two apps, a main and desert. I was floored by the value, considering this 5 start rating ~ USD and CAD go a LONG WAY in Israel.... More

Very well prepared modern food with a great view. The dishes are prepared "just right". Not for the budget conscious.
