Went for our 2 year wedding anniversary and we were really disappointed. Having spent over 800 shekels you would think that we should have received the best service and most amazing food. We sat at the bar and the the girl serving us was more...interested in hanging with her friends who were also dining at the bar. The food was not to a standard that you would expect at a “fine dining” restaurant. We sent one dish back that was drowning in oil and most dishes lacked seasoning, and with the last dish the fish was bone dry. We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant that we had heard so much about. We will not be returning.. there are far better restaurants on that level in Tel Aviv.More

Very tasty. The starter is not worth 80 nis. Good service. The restaurant interior is designed nicely but not a thing that you didnt see before. A bit crowded.

Every single dishes was exceptionally delicious. No flaws on this regards. However, while staffs was friendly and attentive, they’re totally lack of refinement, which is a pity when you call yourself a fine dining restaurant. - Special menu is not available in English - plates...were not changed between courses until I had to ask. - once asked for plates & cutleries to be changed, staff was very attentive but each time, cutleries were scooped up from each of us by barehands while sauces still dripping from it. Didn’t feel like dining in an elegant restaurant. - Our table was booked at 19:15, by 20:20 we were pressured by many looks from staffs wanting the table. Let’s bare in mine that we were still eating our desserts and waiting for tea to come. - Tea was forgotten - A guy apologized and brought the tea and told us that he needed to give us the bill as our table’s time was up!!! NEVER experienced anything like this in my entire life when we’re still eating “spending money” (we ate a lot and opened a few bottles) and asked to leave. - The most embarrassing experience not only for us but mostly to our host. + The wine lady and our waitress were lovely but unfortunately excellent experience was damaged by untrained insensitive lack of customers experience management skills guy.More

Very tasty. Creative seafood dishes. Very expensive as well. Great dishes and very tasteful. The setting is a little bit confined and packed.

We took most of the fish starters, I mean they were okay, didn't blow my mind and not as good as other shef restaurants, we had a good time with great service from Gaya but for 80 nis for a starter a expected much more....Definitely won't pay that again. We didn't take main courses so not sure about that.More

Shila used to be one of our favorite spots in Tel Aviv. It's one of the only places in town where you can indulge on a lobster and enjoy a valet parking service (at a price, of course). Our latest visit, however, was a disappointment....The service was s-l-o-w and sloppy (the glass of wine I ordered, and which I had to remind the waitress about, never arrived). And more importantly - the food which used to be "wow", was no more than "OK". For example, the "Tel Aviv mixed fish" dish was tasteless, and quite a bit different from the dish I had ordered there previously, which had a lot more character and spices. There are plenty of other places in Tel Aviv that serve "OK" food at a quarter the price.More

Most probably one cannot go wrong with Shila. The food is made to perfection, the service is always good. This time we shared several appetizers and in-between courses which were all very tasty. Prices are high but well justified!
