I heard great things about this restaurant and I tried to book a table via their website several days ago to celebrate a special day (They use ClickATable for reservations). I got a message that the restaurant is going to contact me to confirm my reservation or inform me if there are no reservations available for the required day. After... More

If you want to eat in a true Tel-Aviv atmosphere, Shila IS the place. On a Friday night, place was dim and fairly crowded, waiters super friendly and food, as good as always.

I had a business dinner at the restaurant. the food was excellent, but i found the restaurant a little uncomfortable. they pack in the tables and it was quite noisy. it's an expensive restaurant, but a good quality one. the service was fine as well. they were also very nice in that they took my coat when i arrived and... More trendy and pricy, then 'wow'. Service rather unprofessional. Dishes did not arrive at the same time. Tortellini poor. Coffee not warm enough. Deserts ok. Too noisy. Room for improvement!!!

The most remarkable point is the plating, beautifully and mixinx tastes and textures in an outstanding way. Tasty and satisfying. But, and there are quite significant buts: 1. We were seated almost half an hour after arriving on time. And we were. asked to be seated not on the place we ordered. However, we were compensated on that, so I'll... More

SHilo is the restaurant of Sharon Cohen a new avant-garde chef in TEL Aviv. It is predominantly seafood, but with a delicious mixture of flavors and textures. The first night we had a zucchini Salad with walnuts and apples, as well as a carpaccio of yellowtail with a beet purée. We then shared a Dover Sole (a special) presented with... More

One of my preferred table in Tel Aviv. Excellent fishes and nice Gillardeau oysters number one. Try the salmon carpaccio with Campari and lemongrass sorbet. Delicious. And the seafood pasta with tiger prawns / shrimps calamari and mussels or their Spanish fish tartare. Great nice friendly service. Not cheap at all but good quality. Small portions but enough for dinner.
